I think the biggest problem is that there are so many "middle of the road" players. I mean the difference in skill between me (first round pick?) and 2d (third round pick?) isn't that far. There are 4-5 super good players, 4-5 super not good players (imo) and then a bunch of middle ground players.

Either way I am not complaining, I just wish I knew who my 3rd was. Other than 3 posts on the forum I have never seen him before/since.

things are moved because we lost a full team and 1 due to man children, so yes things moved, if you cant get together in a week you go to lb so you have another week to get games going, please learn how wb and lb works.

For what it's worth, AlexxKrycek (*.fuse.net) appears to have never connected to a Q2 server within the WallFly network. And they haven't logged back into the forums since the initial 24-hour period when they made their three posts.

So, I don't know if this is someone legit who just has never played Q2 on a WallFly server (and who stopped checking forums after his initial posts), or if possibly someone trolling who never intended to play.

(Their join-reason on the forum was, "I want more life, fkr!", which sounded vaguely like something a certain banned member might say when registering; however it may just be the name of a song.)

I think Rick said I was on a team with bluemeanies and someone else, but I see some niux and todd dudes on the bracket thingymajigger. Does this mean I ain't gotta sub after all? That would be most advantageous to whoever got stuck with me, hehe. I ain't played RA2 except in a 1on1 thing the one single time I hopped on there late late at night once. So I really don't have much of a clue how the mod works, nor do I really have the interest to learn it. Pretty much, whoever gets my ass is just gonna get a warm body behind a computer that's probably just gonna ruin their chances to win. It behoove whoever it is to find someone more suitable. Just so there's no complaints that I was counterproductive to anyone's team, you've been warned. (Not that warning anyone would prevent complaints)

But I'll still hold up my word and play if I gotta. And I'll try not to suck too bad when I do. I'm pretty middle of the road with a railgun normally, decent with rockets (against most people on the FFA servers, mind you, 1on1 situations with better players who are less predictable and it don't work so well), and pretty accurate with chaingun. But that's "normally". And "normally" my ping was around 33ms. These days I get routed through a bad server in Atlanta that jacks my shit up to 80-90ms, and my accuracy suffers for it. Something to keep in mind in case my teammates might know of a more suitable substitute than me.

It's all good, and nah, I was originally wanting to put you with todd(hops) and bluemeanies all along because I had a feeling ni-ux wasn't going to be able to play, and we got confirmation that he had a death in the family and is going to be away awhile, so with hops being as good as he is and bluemeanies being a very solid player, you not being the greatest, is actually perfect for that team so it isn't so over-powered .  So no worries man, things should be just fine.  And hops leaves for alaska on may 8th for work, so I think you'd be playing either one or two matches at the most.  The bracket was moved around since random isn't available this week, so you guys have a round 1 match now instead of a bye.  If you can at all, try to get on irc in #ra2draft when you can bud so you can talk to hops bout a good time for you guys/the other team etc.  He said he didn't know how to get a hold of you, I told him I'd talk to ya.
