Relax guys.
I was asked to provide screenshot. I did. I provided tr route. I respond directly to what is asked.
WHO GIVES A FUCK WHAT YOUR "SECONDARY" QUESTION IS!?! Jesus fucknuts, you really ARE this stupid! The whole point of you even discussing rebooting the server at all is because you think somehow the server is to blame for your lag issues, or have you forgotten that little factoid, you brainless dick inhaler? And it's been proven to you that *GASP!* Nope! It's not the server with the problem, it's (for the 900th time) YOUR ISP.Quote from: caesar on October 21, 2013, 04:41:01 PMRelax guys.Ha! Fuck you very much! YOU relax! Go back and re-read the thread in it's entirety. It started off plenty relaxed... well other than how you made 6 different threads in 6 different places saying the same fucking thing in each thread like the fucking stubborn brainless retard that you apparently are... but that one slid past rather unnoticed. Everyone was respectful and polite to you in on the first page or two of this thread. Everyone offered you advice and help. It wasn't until you started chirping "reboot the server, it's the server, whats the harm" over and over and over again like an autistic parrot with a fucking stroke that other members of the boards including myself chose to treat you like the fucking asshole that you are. YOU relax, jackass.

Frankly I've found it so difficult to get info from you I've stopped trying to help you diagnose your network issues.I still haven't seen the 15 minute WinMTR trace I asked for (twice!) on page 2.And the screenshot you finally posted after several requests shows about 5 seconds worth of data, barely enough to get a sense of the frequency of lag spikes vs. packetloss. In any case, if there's one fact that needs to permeate your cranium, it's that if some players are experiencing smooth gameplay and a flat netgraph at the same time that yours looks choppy, the problem is not on the server.BTW, when I wrote in my first post, "I don't mind restarting the vanilla/dm servers for the hell of it, as this is simple enough to do," I was referring to restarting the Q2 servers. There's no way in hell I'm rebooting fragbait.tastyspleen.net (aka the Linux host system.)So basically you can either continue troubleshooting your network problem via the approaches above (WinMTR, more complete netgraph screenshot)... or you can keep posting requests for an unnecessary server reboot that's not going to happen.
I re-booted my system, go check and see if this has solved your problem.
Of course, not one person in their sarcastic responses has pointed out what HARM there could be to try a reboot to see what that does. If it does nothing -- so what. At least you tried.

Again you miss the point. I understand that you don't think a reboot will help.
Quote from: caesar on October 21, 2013, 06:33:46 PMAgain you miss the point. I understand that you don't think a reboot will help.I miss the point? Wrong. YOU miss the point. It's not that I don't "think" a reboot will, it's that I "KNOW" a reboot won't help. Several people have told you this several times. YOU miss the point, you feeb.
You don't know unless you've been on when I have lag etc and see whether all others have lag etc at the same time. Even quads says that would mean a server issue.
It is PRESUMED otherwise based on anecdotal reports not on actual scientific testing. No one knows 100% for sure either way.
