So a troll is someone who asks for a reboot and points out that no one has explained the harm of attempting a reboot.  I see.  Nice definition of troll.  Where did you find that?

Of course, not one person in their sarcastic responses has pointed out what HARM there could be to try a reboot to see what that does.  If it does nothing -- so what.  At least you tried.

You obviously don't just want a server reboot: you want to come here and demand that people do nonsensical things at your behest so you can feel like you've done something or that you have some power over others. It's a simple and stupid troll technique.

You haven't done anything of note, nor do you have the power to make others do nonsensical things.

There is a very obvious downside to server rebooting which you ignore for the sake of your troll routine: Server Downtime and even more time spent by someone who provides these servers at a great cost to themself.

Neither one would fix your mythical problem and this has been explained to you at a cost to the guy providing the servers (his time is money).

If you continue to post in this fashion it will become 100% obvious to the server admins that you are trying to waste their time, which as a practice is generally frowned upon and tends to earn people a little time away to think about what they've done. Hint Hint.

You repetitively question what could be the harm in rebooting after multiple people have repetitively told you that it's not a problem with the server and that it is in fact a problem with your ISP. Your traceroute has already shown this to be the case. The symptoms you have described (higher ping and more lag during peak usage hours) have further proven this to be the case.

Well I guess English is your second language.   I asked a simple question about the harm of rebooting to the server.  No one has answered that simple question ( other than stating it might be hard for the admin to do it).  You can say all u want that the server isn't the problem. How does that answer my secondary question about it can't hurt to try it.  The problem here is avoiding directly answering a basic question.  Once that is answered I will be satisfied.   Being snarky and superior isn't helping.

Another example of calling names instead of just answering a direct question. I read it. Server downtime is negligible and admin said it would be done at light usage time.  So I'm not sure you are correct.  Neither is any of that harm TO the server itself.  Which is what I asked about. 

And a little less attitude next time please.
