Bad jump map thread

I figured there might as well be a thread for bad jump maps, because there are quite a few which either don't have guns, will crash the server, won't load up, etc.  That's what this thread is for, so they can be removed or fixed, whatever.

First up, Ac1_jump1.  This dumbass map won't load up because of this shit:

The issue isn't on my computer, BTW.  I searched the jump/sound dir and there is no temp file there at all.  Bug in map or something.

Heh...just so everyone knows, I don't really want this to be a "bitch about whatever maps/mapmakers you don't like" thread.  This is supposed to be for maps that are truly BAD, as in causes errors or won't load, not just ones you don't like.

Anyway, Ac1_jump1 needs removed/fixed.  thx

I got the same mesage.. the server getting stuck trying to download the file or something. I set allow_downloads to 0(I had to set allow_downloads to 1 to get the map, mine is usually at 0), reconnected, and it let me join instantly though.

Basically what happens is for whatever reason, r3_j3 loads up q2dm1 (the actual stock map with all items) and the server crashes within 10 seconds.  Please fix/remove, TIA.

edit:  upon further review, it appears that r3_j3 does load sometimes, but for whatever reason it sends it to q2dm1 randomly.  Odd.

I'm assuming it would be sufficient for a jumpmod admin to do a 'remmap' on the bad maps.

Any jumpmod admins still active, by any chance?

Yo, I like to think that I'm semi active. (School and such can get in the way.) Anyway, I forgot this thread existed. I can go around and remmap these broken maps, but that feels like a lousy fix. I guess if the maps are truly are lame then it's no problem, but if some of them are fun then we should probably be looking for a better solution. I guess, it's up to Quadz, do you really want me to go and just remmap these broken ones? (On a side note, I guess it would be nice to have a little more admin help because as Random said, I'm only in once or twice a week. The most active players there are definitely Fader and Cr33pz from what I've seen.)

A few days ago ~250 maps were uploaded. So I'm assuming there's going to be a bunch of broken maps in that. So if you come across a map with a gigantic shortcut, missing weapon, wrong gravity, rocket-jumping map, or anything that is amiss please note it and post in this thread or just tell me. Thanks!
