A reminder. Join anytime today. For those unfamiliar. quick summary.  AutoDoc gave 150 health 150 armor. (150+150 = 300) Regen is the equivalent, it subtracts the 50 armor and adds it to health instead. (200+100 = 300) The other runes function like LMCTF. R. Hayabusa sounds legit and I am definitely excited to check it out! In all sincerity may I ask you to please describe how Extreme Lithium CTF is different from Railwarz - I am guessing it's that you have the fast hook but it's all weapons? Are there the Quad / PS variables? Do you guys play with techs? Anything differences I'm not seeing or maybe I'm totally wrong about everything?

well to be honest there are a couple of minor issues that are apart of the mod due to lack of support, but has been 98% corrected. the only issue is that there is no start map timer countdown upon joining. ( more for match requests) the quad + amp sound is not distinguishable from each other when combined. other than that the main differences between (l-fire ctf and lmctf loki minion) is that it combines all 3 mods features seemslessly. there always has been one element that plagued the scene, overpowered/underpowered runes. offhand laser hook is normal speed, and default grapple are both available for those who prefer it. ( you can use both at the same time! (become a grapple monkey of epic proportions)

it adds more weapon variety and balance to quake 2 ctf. random quad maps, an added power screen n some maps, (less effective but still provides protection for diversity) slight weapon/rune balance tweaks, more guns and armor in maps. all CTF players know half the time they are running around without any armor or power suit. this will change this variable someone so players aren't dying with one stray hit so easily. in essence more choice. the full readme is on lithctf.yolasite.com

i spent countless years tweaking the mod so it would perform well in a competitive or casual atmosphere. i hope those that do play, enjoy it for what it is. all details are laid out and all numbers have been calculated. worry not.
I'm currently running it on a barebones rig dual core, which should be sufficient for 12 players) however if it isn't. i can always run it on my mid-end gaming rig 8-core 8 GB ram and 2 Gig gaming video card.

hey everyone, OK. looks like i randomly re-appeared on the scene. i got a raging boner again to host a tournament-syle event. seeing that the scene may have been on it;s normal routine, i might throw some enthusiasm to spark some more play. everyone is welcome to join. it will be swiss style. winners bracket losers bracket all that default goodness. if anyone is interested we can play for FREE. or we can add some spice to the mix and add a $1 per entry prize pool to the #1 team winner to receive the loot. (i don't want to increase it anymore than that because it's supposed to be for fun among other reasons)

 i will verify the payment to the winner(s) on paypal or cash app by screenshot. just give me your handle and your player name. it will be a 2v2 format ctf style. list of maps will be voted on by participating members. (you will have to abide by the server settings if entering. NQA) shout out to QUADZ (how ya been), for allowing us to congregate in his generous forum by the way. i think the current mode of communication is by discord? so i will use both avenues.

one more important note, the matches will be counted down by yours truly. since the mod doesn't have a built in script, i will do it in the chat. 10 seconds. each team will ready their respective teams. the rules will be uploaded upon completion of the finalized entrants. i can use some suggestions on settings (note i will consider all suggestions, however not all will be used.) i havn't run a tournament before so i could use some input on experienced persons.

You'll have to put some thought into it. Start out slow and see if any interest builds up over time. Organizing something like this is likely an impossible endeavor, not to discourage you, even with incentives. Good luck

pretty much. the community is so compartmentalized into different areas on the internet. there is no real central avenue to collect players.  that is also further divided by the amount of players that prefer their own specific mod. it's tedious to travel to each channel. there's got to be a way to centralize all quake 2 players into one area to pick and choose where they want to play. or even notify them of new events they might want to try.
