Honesty: I read Penthouse for the pussy, not the articles. And I watch Nascar for the crashes.

A rich man decided to get married and for that purpose, he had 3 suitors. As they were all extraordinarily beautiful, the man could not choose and so decided to test the financial capacity of each one. So he gave them $100,000 each and told them that after a month he wanted to know what they had done with the money.
The first suitor spent it all on herself. From hairdressing and make-up to plastic surgery, she tried to become even more beautiful for him.
The second invested everything in him, bought clothes and watches and various gifts to please him.
The third invested the money in stocks and doubled it.
Then the man thought and thought, and married the one with the biggest tits.

Cars you forgot ever existed:
The AMC Matador (1976)
And what preceded it, the very cool 1970 AMC Rebel "The Machine".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5UYXB6XSG8
This wacko turned one of these rare beauties into a damn lowrider.
Part of what made the early 70's muscle cars look so bad ass was the stance and ground clearance. Dropping a blacktop peeling beast like this to the deck is like cutting it's balls off.

LOL. Lotta old empty posts with missing images linked from the old Naughty Bits site I used read everyday. Might clean those outta here. Then again, this is the Man Thread... and cleaning is woman's work.
edit - 7/27/2022: deleted about 35 posts total, was able to save one by finding a duplicate image elsewhere on the web, the rest I couldn't remember what the hell the pics were.
Anyway...
Came across this. Buick future EV concept car, the Wildcat EV. I'm enthused to see Buick actually seeming to GIVE A SHIT about making cars that aren't just the crossover SUV soccer-mom bullshit. Back in the old days, Buick had a few attractive vehicles... before the 80's came and they started only making vehicles that only your grandparents bought for driving to church in.
But at first glance... "EV" should stand for Ewwww Vehicle.
I'm posting a link to the page, but this link might not stay accurate for more than a few months, I dunno.
https://www.buick.com/discover/news/electric-vehicle-future
Check out the seats. Ew. They look like they're only designed to trick you into thinking the car is faster than it probably will be. They don't look comfortable. In fact, the headrest design looks downright cruel and unusual, and the sides that jut out I would think could potentially be harmful to the rider in a crash.

Ross Chastain pulled off an incredible move at Martinsville Speedway by keeping the pedal to the floor and riding the wall. He picked up 5 spots on the last lap and got one of the 4 spots in the playoff. Listening to the other drivers reactions is funny.

Been there, done that!
[BTF]Deathstalker and [BTF]Gator can also attest to this, if you've played any of the old Nascar sims on PC like NR2k3 that we used to race in the BTR league, you've likely tried that same move on the Martinsville track. It sometimes works if you hit it just right, but it tears at the bodywork and screws with your aerodynamics and slows your lap times down a little afterwards, so it's an unwise move. In a crowd of cars it can be more difficult to pull off because you need to hit the turn at juuuuust the right angle and with full speed and NO BRAKING AT ALL or else you don't have the momentum to resist the drag of the wall all the way through the turn.
Hopefully nascar bans that move and no other drivers ever attempt this, otherwise someone's gonna get hurt, possibly even a fan.

A beauty in pink. And the girls not bad either.
1966 fastback Dodge Charger 383ci v8. Also came in a 426ci hemi v8, but less than 500 were built that year with the 426. As for the pink paint... I don't think that was factory standard. Likely a custom order, as I have never in my life seen another pink one. And being that it possibly could've been a factory custom paint job for Hugh Hefner, I suppose that would make it even more rare and special. I wonder if someone still owns it and kept the paint. We'll likely never know.
I live near the Year One muscle car parts factory. They do several car shows every year, and I end up going to at least one every year. My bro used to work restoring old cars and motorcycles, and when he was alive I used to go to the car shows a lot more. Not often that you see one of the earlier 1st generation fastback Chargers, everyone tends to like the 2nd and 3rd generation Chargers more.
The model is Allison Parks, 1966 Playboy Playmate of the Year.
Ain't that some bullshit though? Back in the 60's, regular new stock-from-the-factory cars were something you'd have a gorgeous classy Playmate modelling on. Can you imagine trying to have some classy girly model on one of the flimsy plastic douche-mobiles these companies are puking out now? Marilyn Monroe... on a fuckin' Kia!?!
Car companies don't give a shit about style anymore. Is it a sign of a society in decline? I think it is.

...Playboy Playmate...
No car this time.
Playboy Playmate Patti McGuire - Miss November 1976 & Playmate of the Year 1977. She was also featured on the back glass of the now famous highly-collectible Bally's Playboy pinball game (around 18000 were made, not sure how many still exist). She ended up marrying famous tennis player Jimmy Connors in 1979. Lucky bastard.

I like to watch Bob Ross episodes because it's amazing to see him bring a full landscape to life in one single 30 minute episode.
I think I like watching these videos for sort of the same reason. It's cool to watch these guys make a house in as much time as I can watch a movie. Plus, I used to be a pipefitter, so I like construction and tools and building shit.
But no shit, I'd kill just about any list of 10 people you threw at me to have a house up in the mountains like this, especially one this close to the Nantahala river. One of THE BEST places for river rafting.

1939 Cadillac LaSalle
Probably
THE
COOLEST custom job on an old Cadillac I've ever seen in my life.
Looks mean and beefy, but also super classy. That color they picked is PERFECT.

That was a 33 Ford Coupe.
My grandpa had a 1935 Willys Coupe that he bought after coming home from the Korean War.
He drove himself and my grandma all the way from the Naval base in Washington state back to Atlanta GA. I think there's pics of them in front of the car stopping at different places in the desert out in Arizona and such. My dad said he was kinda pissed when he sold it in the mid or late 60's because he was looking forward to getting it. Instead, before he started driving, they went out and bought him an old 62 Chevy Imapala SS. The car was stolen out of the driveway at night not long after I was born. Back in 2009 or so when I was making shitloads more money that I am now, my friend and I found him another one, towed it home, worked on it ourselves for a year in secret, and I gave it to him for Christmas that year.
So if I outlive my old man, I'll get it back... and I like a 62 Chevy Imapala... but I dunno, I kinda wish grandpa would've kept that 35 Willys too, then that would've been what I restored for him.
I dunno though, those old 30's coupes look cool, but they're pretty small inside. I dunno that my big ass could fit in one comfortably.
