Complaint About ex

I would like to issue a complaint about the Q2 player known as ex.  We all know ex's attitude while playing any sort of mod with him. Ex being ex, right? What my complaint is all about is when he enters jump mod he is a total dick. There have been 3 instances were he has screwed over many jumpers that i can think of. Two of the times he really pissed me off and few other jumpers.

*The 1st time it happened we had like +20 time added to a map. I had just got past a part  and was on my way to the finish. (Mind you ex had just entered the server and was all ready complaining about the map 2 minutes in) The votetime was issued and he was the only one not to vote. The map changed and everyone on the server quit. I check server status 2 min later after everyone left and ex is not jumping.

*The 2nd instance happened today. The jump map had +10 minutes added to it. I had just completed the map. I continued to jump to better my time. Another jumper was trying to complete and was getting really close. Ex enters the jump map literally with 2 minutes left on the clock. Five seconds in he calls the map gay. The other jumper who is trying to finish votes 5 more minutes with 45 secs left on the clock. Ex does not vote. So i vote 4 minutes with 15 secs left on clock and ex does not vote.  After ex came in and screwed us, we both left ex to jump alone. I literally came right back to jump mod 1 minute later after i disconnected and ex was not jumping but playing DM. 

For the record; every time ex plays jump mod he complains about 95% of the maps. What i don't get is how some asshole can come into a server with so much time invested into a map, to have  the tenacity to not respect the other jumpers and screw everyone else.

rofl, awesome, my very own thread.  First off, cr33pz wouldn't have even started playing jumpmod if it wasn't for me telling him about it, which by route of this thread, I'm regretting me bringing him out of ra2.

Now seriously, there's some queergay maps that come up on jump every so often.  If someone chooses not to vote after you've already maxed out the time, then who gives a shit, play it some other time.  And BTW, just so u know, I voted yes to your first 5 minute time extensions, both times.

I don't have problem with people completing maps, but when a map is centered around fps rather than actual legitimate jumps, that's when I could care less about it.  Once again, I voted yes the first time around, but after that on a gay map, there shouldn't be anything wrong with choosing to withhold my vote either way, or even in fact voting no.

And btw, the maps the server changed to is why I left (both times to maps I already completed).  Sorry if I offended you and Warpig, and this is actually surprising seeing as how you guys are usually friendly to me, and vice-versa.  I don't apologize for my actions, however, because they were not incorrect in this situation.  My vote is my choice, even if my vote is to not vote, and will go unpunished.  You can just get over that.  And if you choose to still be friendly, then good deal.  But if not, then good deal as well.  I'm not here to make you feel good or bad.  I'm just a person playing a game.

And since we're on this topic, I might as well bring up the numerous times people on jump (including you) have voted to kicking me off because I decided to vote no or withhold my vote.

You really think it's deplorable that I don't want to vote more time on a bullshit map, yet you also think it's perfectly fine to repeatedly kick me off the server?  If I cared, I'd ask quadz or Nephi to investigate how many times you've kicked me off the server via no reason vs. the 2-3 times you've actually gotten "pissed" at me, to prove who has more legitimacy in this issue.

But I honestly don't care about this, nor would I desire to waste any admins' time on this idiocy...if you get this keyed-up over a fucking video game, then go outside and do something else with your life, seriously.  At this stage in the old game that q2 is, this game should be purely entertainment value ONLY.  If you get angered at the game, then it's you that has the problem, not me.

And for the record you never voted once while a votetime was initiated. You say you added 5 more minutes. BS. You came in with 2 minutes left. Played for 1 minute and wouldnt vote. Just kind of selfish and rude.  You never jump for to long anyways. Just messes up momentum and screws up everyone else who can complete.  I mean you don't even give the map a try. You play for 1 min and call the map gay and you screw the rest.  I don't care for your fps excuses or how 95% of maps are gay. I do care when there is many jumpers investing some time into completing a map and to get screwed by someone who just entered the game.

I'll look into this more thoroughly later on... but, i'd like to remind everyone that with past jumpmod bs, everyone seems to have a different story about what happened whether it be toxic monkey of slugs's word v. fader's word. That being said so, the easiest and most effective way to handle complaints such as this one, is to post condumps of the incidents.

When they happen, 'condump name' in console. People shouldn't try to antagonize other jumpers through votes though, just because they can, I agree with that... and discourage all from doing so.

Just so you know, I DID vote yes when I first connected to that map.  It was the second go-around that I wasn't into voting yes for.  And lone might've showed you jump, cr33pz, but you knew I played it before he showed you, so in essence, I brought you to jump.  :p

Well, if people are playing a map and trying really hard to complete it, and there's 1 minute left, it's common courtesy to vote yes to a vote so they can finish a map. However, there's no way to prove who voted no to a max vote where one no vote cancels out the whole vote.

Happens all the time and is part of the game, so I think you should deal with it. If anyone should be complaining about people not voting time, it would be slugs. I've seen it happen to him the most over the past 3 years on the jump server.

Also, it's easy to remember when it only happens to you. I clearly remember yourself cr33pz and your krew doing the same thing to me, when I was trying to time a map. I was very close but you all changed the map on me anyway. How convenient.
