Vithis- If you really want this thread to remain a discussion and sign up to your tourney then I suggest removing Golgo (jaQUEERo) from it.   Clean the thread up and keep it on topic.   As of now, I'd say this is going to be another "everyone hates jaqueero (golgo)" thread that will no doubt end up in entropy.   We have more than enough of these.  Just some friendly advice.

oh yea i'm so eccentric. yet i posted all the changes i made to the settings on my webpage. All a player would have to do to see the overrides, is join and play the game they so enjoyed for short period of time. i don't really want any close minded people from acme at my server anyways, i just thought that since you were so adamant about "traditional" CTF, any player would give the common courtesy to play the other in their "eccentric" mod of their choice.

i see you are incapable of that because you hide your ego. a fan and veteran of the game is not afraid to play a game they enjoy if they claim it solely to just play it to have "fun". even though it is not a secret that i make it known around these forums about how good my performances claim to be. ( like many others do as well) i still play people in other mods of their choosing if they so agree to play mine. i'm not afraid to lose to a legitimate player. seems that you are. you started this when you connected to tasty ctf and told me i was "wrong" to another player, when i wasn't even speaking to you.

There is nothing eccentric about Regular CTF.  You used to be a regular CTF player, you thought you could  beat me in regular CTF,  even with your knowledge of the "Flaws"  you failed at that twice. There is nothing more to it never said I would play your mod Tailored to cover your own personal taste. You are master of your mod by default you can play 1 v1 ctf against the random player who stumble on your server. All the baiting in the world will not be enough to bring serious players to bother to spend enough time in your mod just so they can play with the single player who plays it.  And there is nothing wrong with Regular CTF. After 15 years we are hosting a tournment.  And soon we will have a 2v2 ladder again.

Well the first post is good enough I think. I just posted in it by the off chance that someone might be try it.  Would be better if ACMECTF was linked via the GOTO command with TastySpleen but Worm so far wants to avoid all that work. So the CTF community is kinda on it's own different ISLAND in a way.

I mentioned it casually to a random CTFer that was talking in #tastyspleen...had a DoA tag I think. It would be an asset to your community if you were linked to GOTO I'm sure.

There's really not much work involved with doing that, and I'm sure he'd be pleased to rig you up.

i like a lot ofother players only check the ts goto list to see whats going on

though,might bring more shit talking kiddies into acme lol... can imagine if they are their own little closed off island that they probably have some people who cant take a good trolling

...they are plenty used to shit talking and trolling there, but they don't necessarily tolerate it going overboard...I'm pretty sure Rick is still banned from ACME...it's actually quite fun to play there and I'm sure they would get a few more people if it's on the GOTO list...

...if you have decent aim you can at least play defense and as long as there's at least 4v4 or more in a random pickup you probably won't hurt your team...
