Can whoever the fuck has their finger on the admin button simply remove the one post by ex about "stereotypical ethnic ghetto-style folk" (which I didn't get to see and delete myself) instead of choosing to jettison the whole thread which was fine and great before one single post? Can we move the thread back minus the "stereotypical ethnic ghetto-style individual" post, or have "you people" completely lost your minds?

Admin can't be Quadz, I'm almost 100% on that. I can see why the post itself should of been deleted...but the entire thread? What other admin has had problems with the word "stereotypical ethnic ghetto-style individual"? (Hi Gator).

I expected some pushback on moving the whole thread.

I did it half-jokingly in a reference to the "Entropy, I win!" tradition; but also because it was the quickest, most immediate and simple solution to prevent the questionable post from being indexed by Google, given that I hadn't (and still haven't) decided where to stow said post.

I don't object to moving the thread back to 'random' after a solution is determined... blah blah, working all hours lately on deadline, blah blah first world problems etc.!

Well, don't know if it helps but I edited my post with asterisks on the offending word(s) in question.

I also have to apologize, as I saw the "what you hate" thread and since I had that run-in with such a complete asshole moron yesterday, I was still pretty hot under the collar about it. Anyway, you can delete or cesspool the post if you need to, sorry about that to quadz and everyone.

I just can't believe how shitheaded some people can be. That made me so mad.

That is against the rules of the game. It's only a win when it's someone elses thread, and my personal subsequent involvement in the discussion causes it to devolve to the point where shitcanning the thread becomes a necessity. It's against the rules for anyone else to "win", and it's against the rules to delete my thread due to someone else hijacking my thread in a similar fashion, regardless of obvious or subtle methodology.

The Googlebot web crawler robot (like Bing, Yahoo, etc.) indexes all of the parts of the forum it can reach, which equates to all the boards visible to unregistered guests.

Boards like Entropy and Deleted Posts and General Smack Talk are only visible to logged-in members.
