Conclusion: If FaderJok is once again doing the shit that got him banned in first place, is he really rehabilitated? How safe is this server he's been promoting really? Is it open to hacking, cheating, range of shady activities, and personal attacks on players? I was told by the admin that he doesn't care about such attacks on players, so should this server be associated with TS in any way and what's Wallfly doing there?

Im the one who came up with the idea of adding it to goto and asked quadz and fish about it...hoping to have more players in the future.

Yahoo likes to joke around but he never griefs players or servers. If you run a ip check you'll see that person was most likely Razor. We already saw him play last week on your server with one of his common aliases while using a proxy. quadz ran an ip check and saw the guy's using a ton of proxies.

I think you should either use AC or put a password and give it out to the players, because your server is completely vulnerable to cheater harassment. You should worry less about unnecessary details (drama) and more about the solutions to protect your server, or else you risk losing your community.

We aren't talking about AC or the Whale server here, but the one Fader is promoting as being safe for everyone, yet behind the scenes Razor is freely allowed to play there and terrorize players, and the admins there don't care. They are the only ones that can verify his IP, and do something about it, not me. Razor isn't a problem on my server, and overall he's harmless without Fader. He's been proven to be a dumb uncoordinated EMO and clueless patsy alone. Also back then I didn't really need AC to detect or ban him. The problem was Fader instigating shit for his amusement, which he's back doing. If the claims were inane, how come he was banned for 7 weeks?

If you think Fader is more of a security threat to your server, then I think you're distracted too much by your disdain for him, or you're grossly ill informed. There's a reason why Razor is banned from the far majority of Q2 servers, which includes all of TS servers and most Europe's. Also, he already proved to you that he can do similar, annoying things without Fader's help, as he just did with the PM spam. And also, who do you think it is probably teaching Fader all about those "exploits"? Probably the same guy who's cheating freely on your server.

All I really am getting out of your post is that you don't care if people cheat on your server, which is terrible server administrating and shows a disrespect to the players on your server who clearly don't want to play with cheaters. Having AC, especially on forced gets rid all of nearly all the nonsense retards can do on your server. If it didn't work and actually did more harm than good, then most of the Q2 communities, especially the competitive ones wouldn't be using it. Without any kind of AC protection, you leave the "flood gates open" for the cheaters. Maybe you're fine now, but just don't be surprised if you feel the consequences of your decision later.

AC was working on Whale and is supposed to still be. I believe the configuration file with the needed info got overwritten somehow with an older file and will look into it this evening.

AC was disabled by me, because it blocked certain Mac players from connecting, and we can't have that. As far as I know the only people cheating on Whale were Fader and his EMO accomplice Razor. Also if there's anyone else they're usually dealt with swiftly on case by case basis. Also it's worth mentioning that AC is not even an issue here. We're talking about other types of exploits that bypass AC altogether still being abused on Wallfly enabled servers. AC is no longer being updated and wouldn't stop them anyway, so shut up about it already.

If the admin doesn't make any effort to deal with people like Razor, then perhaps the server shouldn't be running Wallfly or be listed as being TS player friendly, for it my endanger new users.
For now I'd advise players to stay clear of this place, until they're more serious about what type of players they got on there.

SHINING ARMOR clearly had access to FTP, and was actively uploading files, maintaining the server it seemed. From what you're saying, that's even worse. Why is a non admin allowed to openly mess with server files... couldn't he compromise everyone's safety by uploading something harmful?

He started up an rcon flood before connecting to evade the kick/ban from WallFly.

I'll need to contact the server admin about the proper setting of sv_rcon_ratelimit to prevent this in future.

All I need to say is two things:

1.)  Ruiner, run AC.  It stops so many dipshits out there who like to ruin servers with hacks for fun.  Yes, a small percentile can still slip by, but the vast majority are stopped, leaving only a small few to deal with directly.  Makes the problem a lot easier to handle in this way.  Don't be fooled by your abhorrent mentality for AC...AC works!  Otherwise, no one would bother using it.

2.)  You've got a good thing going with your server, as it's populated daily and usually at varying hours, which is more than can be said for some of my favorite mods nowadays.  Don't lose your community over petty bs like what happened in this thread.  Stuff like this can run every one of your faithfuls from your server.  Trust me, I know...I've seen servers completely empty out and die because the admins were unsure of using the cheat protection of the time.
