WOW, has it been awhile.

Got a new laptop, and I'm installing all my games, and man...I've come to realize I really really miss Quake2.  IMHO best game ever created!

Anyway, over the years I've accumulated quite a list of files....maps, players, etc, but HOLY HELL you guys have waaaayyyy more than I ever did.

Anyway, leaching....I mean downloading as I type this.  I hope to get fragged by ya'll real soon (I suck, but I still think the game is awesome!).

WOW...good guess!  Matter of fact I am 42.  I have popped in and out a couple times, but haven't started refreshing my frag skills too much.  I have been working on a few computers (one for family friend), and a couple of those are for my kids-now grown and left the nest.  I am getting them fixed up so we can start playing Q2 again like we all did accross a lan when they were little (okay, so I'm a bad parent...let them quake at 7 or 8 years old).  They love the idea of playing it again.  There favorite mod was definately Lithium.  My 2 favorite games:  Railz here on tastyspleen, and used to run a Lithium server myself on the T1 at work.  Yes, my boss was perfectly okay with it!
