Cows like Milky, kill a banker, etc throwing nades from dm3 invul
the sommlier (aka tortamilanesa) crouched on dm3 mega ladder the whole time with a rail

despite all these dm3 campers, its still my dm favourite map 

I have fragged Milky and Banker numerous times by going halfway up the SSG ladder and railing them on the invul ledge. 
I then hang around and wait for them to come back and rail them before they can rocket jump back up there.

the idiots who stand with railgun behind the spawn on dm8 thats on the walkway with CG near the RL crates are pretty annoying. they rarely get me off the spawn, but I'm always tempted to rush straight at them with chain and shake their shit up.

it doesn't work well most of the time, but I do it anyway just to screw up their shitty newbie camping technique.

My ultimate one is NADES. I FUCKEN HATE NADES. it doesn't matter if i am on railz or dm, they are magnetically drawn to me. someone could shoot a fucken nade on dm8 from the rail and i could be at the lower shotgun and it will still find me. BAN THE NADES

Please use a custom skin so that I can, um, know who not to throw nades at.

But still. Camping the invul and having no chance on earth of ever getting a high score is screwing around. Playing nades only is screwing around. That "Frags Ain't Skillz" guy who doesn't use chain or quad is screwing around. On a similar note, ToxicMonkey spending an hour doing nothing but jumps on Mutant is screwing around.

Anyone can make these distinctions, that still doesn't make it someone's fault because he/she isn't utilizing the server how YOU want them to, lmao. As I said, I think sitting at invuln and railing people that walk up a ladder is a stupid way to utilize your time on a server... but why would any sane person make judgment calls with their own style based on that? People join the dm server to do what they want to do, and whether toxicmonkey is practicing jumps or not, they're still going to do it. It's all how you perceive it, and it sounds like to me that you're just bitter that YOUR style, and YOUR way of "having fun on the server" doesn't give you the gratification of a win. Maybe it's people like YOU, daframen, and toxicmonkey that care a little too much? The person who is ONLY using quad chain and BFG could be screwing around, lmao, and they might even be screwing around for the sole purpose of watching these said people whine. Just because you're completely clueless to it, doesn't mean everyone else is. and just as I said, I could thoroughly convince you that I'm "trying too hard" while completely joking around due to your silly preconceived notions.

You can pretend you're all in it for fun and everyone else are try-hards only for the win, but you'll still be the guy who does bad, and is a complainer.

Trying to control a map with rail/chain combo when everyone else in the server is using nades only is just trying too hard. To take the topic further, the idiot who thinks it's fun playing as hard as possible when everyone else has gone cow and is trying to find new jumps is obviously not challenging himself. He's settling for an easy win. Although that may seem fun, it's stupid and it makes him a worse player.

the dm server isn't the "practice jump" server. Just because someone doesn't alter their playstyle in accordance with people practicing jumps(what moron practices jumps when they have a good chance of getting hit / messing up?), it doesn't mean that he/she is at fault. The fact that you place blame on someone for not doing this, shows that you care a little too much about it. The whole concept of fun in q2 seems to be a foreign concept to you, maybe you should just find a new hobby.

by the way, nades are awesome! sometimes I just love to use only nades and a few times even took the first place in DM by using nades only, Fanjoo was soooooo mad when it happened

Hehe, I've always liked nades in q2 and they are by far the most interesting and unpredictable weapon so I doubt that someones nade usage alone annoyed me.
But there are some players that sometimes like to make it their mission to try to get into the strangest nooks and crannies or try to block weapons and elevators, for instance blocking the lift to railgun on dm3 or the railgun on dm6 by just sitting on the pillar. Players like InsaneMercenary or this guy^ above me come to mind

also a touch on peewees post from the first page... i don't try to win to beat other players or ruin peoples fun i have fun trying to finish the map as fast as i can... should consider that people will have fun playing that way and it is the objective of the game whether ya like it or not, people "screwing around" are the ones out of place and shouldn't complain
