all i have to say is wow. wow wow wow what a mouse the deathadder is. i had no idea how much of a difference a good mouse makes. still gotta get used to it but the shape is beautiful in my hand and was kickin total ass on railz. accuracy is amazing

well... now the center click is broken on mine too... this piece of shit is trash soon as i get another one -.-

EDIT: actually, its pretty fuckin dead right now :/ think i might have to junk it right now and use a cheap mouse that ive been making use of on my laptop.. it plays ok-ish but it does lose trackin for those flick shots i like so might have to take it easy on the quakin for right now

deathadder IS a great moues, and i never regret buying it... but when they start to die they are a fuckin nightmare :/ and they only last for like a year or two

im about to order a mouse from work right now(along with a new hard drive)... here i'm using a logitech m310, i like how it feels. i've been swapping an ancient ball mouse with an optical mouse right when they first came out that really loves to spin in circles up in the air... not looking for something great, just something that isn't really bad! :>

just put the order in for that exact mouse. wireless laser... now I won't be tugging / have constant tension on the cord to my mouse. Can only use about 2/3 of my mousepad atm, would have to re-arrange a lot of stuff for it to be otherwise

nah i was pretty good to my deathadder until recently when i figured out a way to remedy the stupid not clicking bullshit was to hit it on the table a couple times lol... but that broke the center click so... yeah my deathadder is pretty dead

Lol I have the razor death adder also blue lights on it super cool and response time is awesome  well worth the 60 bucks  also got the black widow mechanical keyboard amazing also .. Also  have a brandy new phenomii x6 3.3 ghz over clocked and stable @ 4.2 ghz . Amazing all together I outdid myself with this one..

My computer still only rated 7.6 out of 7.9 cause of my gay hard drive rpm.. But still a modest 9000+ rating on performance test 64 bit .. Wanna go higher..

I'm using a Logitech G9x and am quite happy with it.  I was using a Logitech MX510 for years before this one.  Only reason I got rid of the MX510 was the rubber feet on the bottom were wearing off, and I found the G9x for like $20.

hf with it only problem with wireless mice is response time is low, and when the batteries start to die they turn into the worst mouse you have ever used

i prefer the lesser of two evils and just fuss with the stupid cord for my mouse all the time lol

i suggest you try the mouse in your hand before you buy. you get a mouse that feels comfortable to you. don't go with the most popular mouse just because everyone else is. what one person thinks is the be all and end all, the next might think it sux.

i did that with the logitech mx518, i read all these comments saying how great it was, and to me it was a shitty mouse, was so uncomfortable in my hand. I am glad i swapped it for the razer deathadder
