I have no idea how you live your life. , but the misconception is when people think they are a "good person". Who says you are a good person? define what a good person is through moral relativism?

When reading the bible it actually convicts you. Even god says there is not one good person

And i just wanted to clarify, When saying no one is good, that is different to saying someone is nice. I know a lot of nice people, quadz is a nice guy from what iv'e seen over the years, but it doesn't make someone morally good in gods eyes

Here's one example: A good person refuses to blindly follow scriptural laws, regardless of whether some iron age scribe wrote, "...for I am the LORD" next to them.

You realize all the nasty commandments in Leviticus and Deuteronomy are presented as God's Laws, right?

How do you deal with that?  They used to be God's Laws, but only until Jesus showed up?

 Did rules ever change in the Bible? Of course they did. Let’s look at one example.

From the beginning man was vegetarian (Genesis 1:30).  When there was a new covenant with Noah, man was allowed to eat clean and unclean meat (Genesis 9:3). With Moses, meat eating was even more strict, limiting them to eat only meat that was clean (e.g., Leviticus 11:47). In the new covenant in Christ’s blood, this was further opened up (Romans 14:1–4).1 And in heaven, we will be vegetarian again to complete the cycle (there will be no death in heaven [Revelation 21:4], so no meat will be available).


GOD loves everyone and does not want to see anyone perish from sin. that's why he sent his only son jesus to die for your sins. To be saved all you have to do is believe in your heart that jesus died and rose from the dead and confess with your tongue that jesus is lord and you will be saved. You can't honestly look at your life and believe you have never done anything rotten to someone else, that would be deceiving yourself, so it's also good to repent.

Do I want to see quadz go to hell? NO. Do i want to see foc go to hell? NO, although someone like focolar is too far gone imo, but then again you never know.

At least quadz you have a brain in your head, and have intelligence. Read the bible back to front, give it a chance

And before you ask me why jesus had to be sacrificed, I will answer that question. Every human is a sinner. We live sin infested lives. So therefore a sinner cant sacrifice themselves to be free from sin. To defeat sin, you need a perfect sinless sacrifice, enter jesus. Jesus lived and taught a morally good life and overcame the world, he also defeated sin by rising from the grave. So if you put your faith in him, he has paid your debt in full.

It sounds like you're suggesting Deuteronomy 22:20-21, for the thousand or so years prior to Jesus' arrival, was during that time a true example of morality, because it was a LORD's commandment:

  [If a man take a wife], and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
  Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the
  men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die.

And so this was actually a moral law, up until Jesus arrived with a new covenant?

I mean, you've already admitted God is a moral relativist. We're on Covenant 3.0 now right?

But it sounds like your position must be that if Jesus 2.0 showed up, and said, "OK folks, I bring you Covenant 4.0, which re-introduces some fun stuff from Covenant 2.0 we feel you've all been missing out on. So the non-virgin bride murder thing is back on the table!" Then you would be like, OK, It's God's Law once again, so that means it's moral again!

Again, the Bible already proves God is a moral relativist. So I guess anything must become 'moral' the moment God says it is? And then become immoral again when God changes its mind?

everything is alive, everything. you are not breathing oxygen, you are inhaling life. we are all surrounded by an infinite radiation of emotional love.

God is not a singular entity, but the totality of this radiation, including celestial bodies, and the rainbow of beings as we know it.  The "holy spirit" is within us and all around us.

When poor bill nye says that things just happen from nothing, he doesn't yet realize that the nothing is the everything. When we are awake, when we are asleep, we all have different hearth rhythms. if you wanna see what it is i am talking about, you have to shift your emotional state, you have to rise from what you perceive to be waking reality. Go back to the moment of your birth, free from delusion, free from society, free from thought, and just become raw emotion and love.

The messengers of the past tried to help people find the path, but the truth is, individuals are smart, but people are stupid, and thus these bibles and korans were formed to control people who would worship cow statues and perform sacrifices. Whether you look at jesus, mohammad, budha or others, there are many simliarities in how they reached their various forms of "enlightenment." Look for the simiiarities in religions, as that can be your newbie starting point.

 If you want to know the truth about existence, you must do it by yourself, whole heartedly, taking a hard and long look inward, reaching deep into one's self.

It was my belief that I had correctly summarized the essence of that verse. If you think it's important that the earlier verses talk about whether the husband lied or not, I don't understand: because the part I quoted was when the husband was judged to be telling the truth: An Iron Age non-jury trial judging for the plaintiff: kill the girl with the broken hymen!

Wrong. Muhammad was the last and most important messenger of God. Jesus was also a messenger of God, but Jesus was not the son of god (equal to God), nor did he ever claim to be because there is only one God, Allah, and the notion that anyone or anything was/is equal to Allah is pure blasphemy. Nor was he ever crucified for anyone's sins, nor was he ever raised from the dead. Anyone who's ever read the Quran would know all this. Your Judeo-Christian holy bible is telling you fibs.

Seems to me we have a disparity when it comes to which words on a page are better and truthful. How can we logically and rationally remedy this situation? How can we judge which book is truthful without dipping any part of ourselves into the loathsome mire of moral relativism?

This one is easy. the scriptures are a lot older than the qaran for starters. If Mohammed was a prophet of god or any one of importance don't you think he would have been mentioned somewhere in the scriptures? Also if you actually take time to do your research which i doubt you have, you would quickly find Mohammed was no prophet, just a normal human, but muslims try and use this passage out of the bible and try and say "oh look thats Mohammed....

John 14:26 - But the Comforter,, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Muslims try and say that this one line proves that the comfortor is mohammed, which is clearly false if you have read the bible for yourself because you would know that...

John 16:13 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Notice how it says SPIRIT and not prophet, man ect. It's clearly talking about the holy spirit (spirit of truth) not Mohammed.
