KroPP complaining about the No FPS Switching policy on the PB2 Q2jumpmod server

Imo, this is two completely different games.. Well, atleast different mods 
If a person wants to jump, and change fps whenever he wants to, he should play q2 jumpmod..

A q2 jumper wouldn't start playing Q3 Defrag, and complain about not being able to doublejump..
But yeah, I remember the drama when people started using low fps to jump faster on the q2 jumpmod.. It was pretty annoying for the other players who were competing with 60+ FPS, and set an almost unbeatable time with it, then someone joins in and own them with 20 FPS..

There were a lot of talk about forcing a minfps of around 50, but that would take away other aspects of the game..
So we've just settled for letting it be as it is..

New ways to jump are occurring all the time, it would be pointless to try to "ban" them all..
Better that old schoolers learn how to do those jumps then..

PB2 physics have changed and Paintball2 might someday get its very own jump mod.

My jump experience is limited,  but I never changed my FPS.   Nor do I use the 'store' command.  I just join hard team and hammer away at it.
Makes for some laughable times on some maps,  like 5-6 digit seconds laughable

I don't see anything wrong with players who do change their FPS.  If I played it more I probably would look into it.
Believe it was 3 effective settings, like 25-60-120 (close?)

Definitely think it would be unfair to force any number.   Too high and slower connections have trouble.
And it's a preference thing,  some like to set it to their native refresh rate,  some like 60, some like to play 100..  120..
some set it to a magic mathematical number that is spose to be good at working with the vid card/monitor, (I forget the formula)

Forcing one number would negate personal preference/need as well as switching.
