This is the hardest jump in dm1, across the arena starting from the shells, then to the bottom ledge, then to the other side. I get it 2nd try

Another very hard jump, it's pretty much like the jump where you dj to the light, then to mega.. except you start from the floor instead of on the block

This really isnt a hard jump, but i've seen many people struggle with it so i decided to post it. The SSG Jump - walk up the stair case and dj from the 2nd step to the 4th step, 5x in a row

I cannot view them. I am guessing that they were recorded with R1Q2? If so, may I just add to make a note alongside the demo name such as (Rec in R1Q2) So viewers are told before they download.

Adam - half of the demos im posting are recorded with r1q2. I am STILL posting them and I was going to make downloaders aware of that, and explain how to view them. But yeah, thanks anyways!

This is just a jump run i did through dm1, nothing terrible difficult, enjoy.

The first and 3rd demos posted (arena and ssg jumps) were recorded in r1q2. In order to view these demos, you must put the demo file in c:\quake2\baseq2\demos\ then open q2 and type "demomap ssgjump.dm2" or "demomap dm1arenahj.dm2" enjoy the demos.

Also, if anybody wants to know how to do any of them id be happy to help in this forum.

or you could just record them in protocol "34"

set cl_protocol "34"

that way you can view them right off of here with demoplay...

I used to do it that way too but this just saves the hassle.

btw, your 2nd and 4th demos work ... nice jumps.

don't think those jumps are that hard, not that i'm good at them, but occassionaly make them
the hardest in my opinion is from the second step at ya in mega, to dj to the light to mega

reaper if you say that you 'occasionally' make the first one, then you are either bullshitting or have never tried it... lol... that is SERIOUSLY one of the hardest jumps. It's not the same as a regular across the arena jump... jumping off the bottom ledge makes it 100x more difficult.

I also could not get the 1st and 3rd to work. Nevermind that however, I just wanted to say I enjoyed the jump run was pretty cool. Thanks for posting it.
