I agree that the second one is pretty hard. Had to try alot before i got it. Well I don't see myself using it during a match (i usually use run to the bottom box and double jump to the closer light or stand still floor double jump to closer light to avoid getting railed) but it felt good after i got it practicing 10 mins

I start facing yellow armor though its easier for me that way.

shells to mega ledge is NOT the hardest edge jump.. 2nd lvl of y/a box straight to mega without light is the hardest, ive done it 4 times now and ive yet to see anyone else do it. doing it with the light ive done like 7 times in a row and i do it in almost every 1on1 i play. dins made shells to mega ledge 3 times in a row so calm down haunted, i can do it like 1/10 but id say its 2nd or 3rd hardest.

and the difference between us in jumping is that u dont do anything in your games, anyone can sit there for hours trying a jump while demo'ing, skill is involved when u have to play and jump at the same time.

haunted is pathetic at jumping just so everyone knows

this demo sorta shows what im explaining. it's 1on1 vs kickro where i do y/a to light to mega 3 times, all at different points in the game, and yes i win aswell

was my warm up game and the start was ugly but i hit the jump 3 in a row so it's good enough.

I wonder if there is a possibilty to just seeing from the q2-programming code whether a jump is possible or not, and to program the utlimate jumper, that can pull off any possible q2 jump at first try.

But it would kind of suck too, because do you really want to know how far is it possible to push the physics of quake2?

i'll deffinitly demo the mega in 1 jump, 3 of the 4 times i made it was just barely and the other time was by far the craziest jump ive done and no one believes me but i glided like a mofo and hit the wall above mega without touching light. it doesnt seem possible to me, not even close, but when i demo mega in 1 u'll see the crazy floating that it takes to get there and then what u think is possible doesn't really matter anymore lol.

ill also say that i hate when people post jump demos where they clearly were practicing forever and just cutting the demo after failing or editing it, cause many jumps are easier by changing fps but u have to be able to make them all with the fps u play with otherwise it's meaningless.

any demo i post will be with 95 fps.

im really used to the random nubs taking the side agasint me, that was the whole point really.. but no one who's worth mentioning actually thinks haunt is a better jumper, ive raped every jump mod server ive played on, haunted was always the nub trying to get 4th or 5th to my 1st. skill tranfers over to other mods, im good at every mod, ive nade only raped haunted trying his hardest like 4 times with ease.... i can do every jump on edge while 1on1ing a top player instead of standing there for 10 mins trying to make 1 jmup like haunt rofl
