POLL: Add ztn & trdm maps to DM

For those of you who are unaware, the ztn and trdm maps are a legitimate, original series of deathmatch maps approved by the makers of Q2.

There are about 16 maps in total.

These maps used to feature in many of the original DM servers along with q2dm1-8.

These maps are literally made for DM: They aren't too big or too small, and they have weapons placement specifically suited to dm play.

The addition of these maps would greatly expand the dm environment without compromising it's integrity.

Contrary to popular opinion, the addition of these maps would not be a break from tradition, but rather a return to dm multiplayer as it used to be.

Contrary to YOUR OPINION, the addition of those maps would break from tradition. That's why you're here, making a poll. There's a reason that popular opinion is called what it is: it's because it's seen as the truth by the majority.

Stop trying to bias the voting with your unsubstantiated claims, and maybe take into account that trollish appeals to authority like claims that "the makers of q2 approve" are not helping your case and that this poll will only affect the "current and future players of q2".

Well I actually thought that more people would be interested in expanding the DM map cycle. So I was wrong. That's okay, but I do wonder why everyone is so violently opposed to the idea of developing the Tastyspleen DM environment.

What, exactly, is so bad about the maps I proposed?

I do indeed want to 'stir argument' as you put it Yahoo, but only because I have the best interests of the Quake 2 community at heart.
