Add ztn & trdm maps to DM

I posted this and all my other ideas under the 'tastyspleen.net' forum which specifically requests new ideas from Q2 players.

The exact quote which accompanies the forum link is; "ideas about how to improve tastyspleen are welcome!"

I'm sorry if the ideas which I contribute to the forum cause you such rage and distress. Maybe if you redirected all that energy into coming up with some ideas of your own...?

I'm thinking about getting a new desktop, but I'm worried that I won't be able to load Quake 2 onto it because the game is now so old.

Will the latest desktops still accept & load Quake 2?

Any advice appreciated

At least console gave an honest opinion, although I don't agree... maybe when Tastyspleen started, ppl were happy to have a q2dm1-8 dm server, but now they're getting bored. Mostly you'll find that players use Vanilla because they're BORED SHITLESS of cycling through q2dm1-8

Would you care to back any of your assumptions up with evidence or do you plan to continue just talking out of your ass?

"People" are not bored of dm1-dm8. You just get owned on dm1-dm8.
DM is regularly populated with a full complement of players. If they were bored and all went to vanilla as you claim, vanilla wouldn't be half empty most of the day while DM is hard to connect to due to player load.

The vast majority of the players I see on vanilla, pretty much only play on vanilla so your "mostly" is completely wrong.
MOSTLY players use vanilla because they like playing on vanilla and chatting with the same crowd every day. Quite a few of them use vanilla because it regularly shows up near the top of a server browser when sorted by players online, just like the DM server. They sure as hell are not there for the challenging experience based on what I've seen of the playstyle used by the majority there. If anything, the ones that are actually there for the maps are the ones camping the easily camped vanilla maps that were not originally intended for deathmatch and thus have hidey holes all over the place and sparse weapon placement

Feeding us your line of BS won't change what everyone can connect to vanilla and observe with their own eyes.

BTW, almost every single one of your "hurdur lets change something because I said so" posts have pretty much circled around and consisted of the same 2 things over and over.

1: You make claims that are unsupported to try to prop up your "argument" and ignore anyones opinion who gives it while supposedly requesting that people give you their opinions.
2: You beligerently "suggest" changes based on these unsupported claims that magically will make the DM server what you want while shitting on the wants of the rest of us.

Please drop your snarky trolling routine and stop trying to crap on the DM server so that you can have it your way, when by your statements it can be seen that you'd obviously prefer something more like vanilla or mutant and just refuse to go play on them.

In fact, there are times that all servers of TS are empty except for dm.

I do have to  say that tubby has some unique and innovative way of trolling. Starting a thread with some serious topic then the next thing you know it, you got sucked into a nonsense argument.
