Braves update, since Foc has moved on to the Falcons

The good news - Braves are still up by 2 games over St. Louis with 4 games to go in the season.

The bad news - Braves finishes the season with 3 games against Philly (Best record in baseball), St. Louis finishes the season with 3 games against Houston (Worst record in baseball)

The Braves are playing Washington now and they are 1-1 so far in the 3 game set, they really need to win the last game against Washington or I don't think they will make the playoffs.

Doesn't matter. They don't have a chance in hell of beating Philly at least twice in the last 3 games, and they sure as fuck don't have ANY HOPE AT ALL of beating Philly in an NLCS series. Like grandpaw always said, "Hope in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up first."

If we were talking about the same Braves that beat the Giants this year, maybe they'd stand a fighting chance. But not long after that series, they turned back into the mediocre Braves they were back in May. Tim Hudson has seemingly come out of his post-injury slump, it's just a shame that the rest of the team can't seem synch up some consecutive hits in any one inning to score some fucking runs to win games.

Aw, no post-season for Atlanta? We lead the wild card race pretty much all season long only to piss it away in the last month of the season. Gee, didn't see that coming. Still haven't watched any games lately. If they managed to lose the lead in the wild card race (I'm assuming that's what you mean), then I'm glad I had other shit to do.

Oh, well. Maybe next year. And hopefully next year they'll have another manager and throw current manager Freddi Gonzalez to the motherfucking curb on his fat lazy stubborn constant snack box raiding ass. I swear to god, he gets up more to go over to that stupid fucking snacky snack box they got in the dugout to feed his fat fucking face than he does to get up and pull a lousy pitcher out or to get up and see whats going in the fucking game.

Just looked at the standings on ESPN.com. OH... MY... FUCKING... SHIT. Lost the wild card race by a lousy fucking ONE GAME!?! Jesus fucking christ in hell, this is why Atlanta needs to get fucking rid of pitcher Derrick Lowe. HE FUCKING SUCKS! If had pitched better games, they could've easily stayed ahead of St. Louis.

Tampa was eliminated today

For the game your watching.
Phils have 3 top starting pitchers (Halladay, Lee, Hamels) their best batters are (Rollins, Utley, Pence, and Howard)

Cards best starting pitcher is Carpenter and their best hitters are (Pujols, Berkman, and Holliday)

The Phils are the better team, but you never know what will happen in a short series.

The top teams in the regular season from both leagues have been eliminated (AL-Yankees, NL- Phillies).

I could see the Yankees losing, but I thought the Phillies would make the World Series and probably win it.

NL is down to the Milwaukee Brewers and the St. Louis Cardinals

AL is down to the Texas Rangers and the Detroit Tigers

I'm predicting the Cards and the Rangers for the World Series, with the Rangers winning it all.
