ok guys we all know it happens daily. As men we can never seem to get it right. Women are always bitching about something insignificant that we have done wrong, and they get all teary and emotional. My woman today has a big whinge saying she thinks i don't trust her, i tell her i do trust her, i had done nothing at all to make her think i don't trust her. So out of frustration i told her to stfu and stop being silly. She goes off her nut. I mean honestly, guys list some things here woman have gone schitzo about you doing that is really insignificant. It can't just be me going crazy, i am sure alot of you have experienced similar things

lol, or like when we have been at work all day we get home and all we want is time out, even if its just an hour to chill, but noooooo its too much to frickin ask, we get bombarded with bitchiness, nagging ect ect. we shouldn't have to put up with it. Around Thanksgiving, we went on a brewery tour/tasting and I bought a shirt from the brewery.  A couple weeks ago we went to the same brewery tour/free beer tasting, and prior to going, I told my wife that I wanted to buy another shirt.  She told me that I already had a shirt from the brewery, and didn't need to buy another one.  At the brewery, while she was going to the bathroom, I went and bought a shirt, and put it in the car.  I put it on the next day when I was on my way to work, and she threw a fit over the fact that I purchased the shirt even though she had clearly told me she didn't want to me buy a shirt, AND that I hid it from her.  It probably took her about a good week to get over it.  The shirt cost $15.

She tried to explain that she was mad at me because I broke her trust and purposely deceived her, but my stance is that if she hadn't objected to me buying a shirt in the first place, we would not be in that situation.  There have been past instances where I spent larger sums of money without consulting her, $300 on a watch, $180 on clip-in pedals/shoes for my road bike, etc.  Those situations were never forgotten, and they always come up when there is the "slightest" infraction when it comes to our finances.  I ended up reselling/returning the larger purchases, but the damage had already been done.  From now on, I will always be scrutinized under a microscope when it comes to situations like this.  Forgive but never forget.  

I personally couldn't care less if she were to go do the same thing, I rarely object to her wanting to purchase stuff, even if she does inform me.  

Women are definitely nuts when it comes to how irrational and emotional they are.  My wife gets wound up over the stupidest shit: if I accidentally make a mess in the kitchen, that I don't care if our shower is a little dirty, that I don't care if our sheets don't get washed every week.  I am a pretty stress free individual, and she seems to worry about everything.  Maybe that's why men age so much better.

I've found that even after 8 years with the same chick, having seperate bank accounts and credit cards is still quite viable.
We're on a lease together that either of us could pay solo, but other than that, the money/credit are entirely independent and this makes us both behave more responsibly about them.

There are waaaay fewer money issues/arguments this way, and when she wants to buy a fuckload of new clothes or something, it doesn't hit my bank account unless she runs short in some other area and I have to pick up the slack.
Nowadays, she makes about the same as I do on her paychecks so I don't have to worry about much in terms of short funding on her part.

When we buy each other gifts, it's not like buying something for yourself with your own money, and when we buy ourselves shit there's no need to explain it or argue over it.

All told, it's a great way to avoid fights over nothing, and it doesn't require as much trust as combining your finances.
Too much trust can cut both ways and with this setup you will automatically do the right things because they're in your best interest, not just because you feel like you have to or some woman will be bitching at you.

Eventually the threat of your man/woman bitching at you loses it's ability to sway your decisions, (faster the more they use it) but for intelligent people self preservation will retain it's value indefinitely.

This is why I'll probably never get married. I don't want to get myself into something I can't get out of if I really need to. I've dated a few total cunts in my time, and after being stepped all over one too many times, I've finally had enough. Sadly, it's made me pretty bitter and closed off. I find it hard to care about someone the same way that I used to. My current girlfriend, I love her to death and I'd do just about anything for her, but I won't hesitate for a second to toss her ass to the curb with the garbage and never look back if she fucks me over, and she knows this. I think that's probably why she doesn't attempt to do that typical female controlling crap, because she knows I won't tolerate it and it'll be over before it even starts. And honestly, I think she respects me and admires me for it a lot more than any other woman I've ever been with has. It's not about being a chauvinistic asshole. I treat her very well and I do my best to try not to take advantage of the fact that what I say goes. I wouldn't want her trying to control or take advantage of me, so I do what I can to never give her a reason to.

The point is that pretty much everything brought up here is petty and pointless and that it's based on a difference of foundational concepts. I'm sure that my wife has done quite a few things like this, but having a different perspective, it never really bothers me for long. Regardless of our faults or arguments, we are in this together. Same thing goes for the kids. Every day is a new day. I can't stay mad at one of the kids forever just because they are bad once. You take care of the now, get over it, and move on.

And to really be honest, it sounds like -you- guys are the ones that can't forgive and forget. How long are you really going to drag around this baggage? You sound like a bunch of women!
