UDML CANCELLED:

Mya is stepping down from running the UDML and will not be passing on the league to anyone else. If anyone wants to create their own 4v4 tournament and/or league, go right ahead. No one is stopping you. 

Reasons:

- She has too much schoolwork and Junior year in high school is a crucial year for her. She just has too many things on her hands.
- She wants to actually play quake 2 during her free time rather than run a tournament or ref games.
- Drama left over from the first tournament made her realize the stress that running a tournament will be like. She just isn't ready to deal with that.
- This would have been her first time running a tournament. She just isn't cut out to be an admin of one. Not right now at least.

Not passing the UDML onto anyone else?  Nobody in |D| wants to accept that kind of responsibility?  I was harassed by |D| members for the job I have done in the tourneys, so I thought one of them gladly would have stepped up and showed me how a tournament should be run.  Where are you guys at now?  ParadoX?  DyN?  sean?  Anyone?

I think it is better off that the UDML and the name of it remains dead.  I don't see how anyone could respect a tournament like it.  Yeah, smart move by not passing it to anyone else even though I'm sure one of the former =RGT= members would have took it off of Divine's...I mean *Devine's* control. ; )

I think the Q2 scene needs a break from tournaments unless we can come up with a unique 4th edition of the tastyspleen tournament.
