Torch is a good choice because he plays often. IIRC, nephi was also given admin for that same reason, but nowadays he's hardly on.

I think it would be nice to see map makers get the ability to upload their maps though, as quadz mentioned awhile ago. levi and satter lately have been adding new maps to the server. Kind of a shame that they have to wait for an admin to help them add their maps to the server.

seems to me people come and people go. even you torch have been known to dissapear for a while then return. 187 slugs hasn't been seen lately either. u need someone who lives and breathes q2 and is dedicated to the game who is on all the time. but then again don't know many jumpers who play on a regular basis apart from you and maybe 1 or 2 others

i disapear because i can.. i have no reason to be here if i dont have admin to control the server besides playing it as my mod of choice. i would be on everyday to maintain it as much as possible, other than work n shit im q2 basicly

There's definitely jump regulars. If there wasn't, we would see an empty jump server but there's always people on everyday.

This has been in place for a few weeks.

They still have to notify me to sync the maps, but after that they can perform the "addmap" themselves.

thats great, thats one less thing to worry about =) but what about illegal short cuts and lagged times that need dealt with along the way? still lack of administration in the jump realm
