Ok I'll explain for Art and Dukie why I hate those pants.

- I think those pants are atrocious (especially in the bigger picture you posted) because they almost go up to the women's breast. Which gives the impression that her body is about 75% legs. Btw I'm not critisizing the girl here...just the way it looks to me.

- You might say that those pants give some kind of shape to a women's ass. While it might help some ugly ass to look better, it won't help a nice one which would look good in pretty much anything. If you need those pants to look good then that's not a good sign to me.

- While I don't care about fashion, I go more with what I think is nice or not. And I've always thought those kind of jeans looked awful. Whether people were wearing them in the 80s or now in soem country festival, they will alwyas remain ugly to me. Recently, low-cut jeans were in...so they've probably accumulated a lot of high-rise ones which means that sadly it's going to be the next big thing in fashion to eliminate the stock they have. I think it's always funny to see what ugly item will become nice to many because of what fashion is. Unfortunaly I only trust my eyes and even if those jeans are popular they will remain ugly to me.

So you're not the only one to like ass...I do too. But god those pants are horrible.

I've never really known these wrangler style pants (as I call them) as being "in". I think it is mainly a country/rodeo type pant made and worn with practicality in mind. Can you imagine a Lady rider/barrel racer wearing anything less ? Not only would their crack be exposed all the time, but their bare ass would be showing before they made it through the finishing gate (not that there's anything wrong with that, but you get what I mean). I don't see many Ladies wearing such attire other than around livestock communites like FtWorth or in rural areas where Women ride horses and 4-wheelers.

Adam .. nice ass you posted, but that's the point. She might as well be bare assed with those britches on. $:-\$

Bigwig is correct, the jeans they were wearing are only made to shape an unshaped ass best it can. It just raises and separates (or squishes) the cheeks, giving the illusion that the ass in question has some sort of shape to it. And if you notice, ass is evolving... it's getting rounder, bigger, and better shaped with each century that passes ;p it could be the change in clothing types over the time that cause this. The backs of tight (good looking)pants have basicly the same function as a bra does for breasts...to cradle and shape it. Those pants are for redneck ass..and depending on who you are...that may or may not be a good thing.
