Tourney Settings

Just wondering if it could be possible to unlock voting on least some of the settings on the tourney servers? At least timelimit and powerups on/off. Shouldn't be needed to have a ref around to do that. Just my two cents.

Agree, 15 is too long for pop-up games.  I think the problem during the tourney was that people would vote in changes and admins wouldn't realize.

Yeah, 15 minutes for pickup-games with stacked teams tend to make people leave the server, cause those games get really boring. 10 minutes for pickups works great, everyone can endure 10 minutes of rapage if teams happen to be stacked. And if people wants to do 2s or 3s on other maps with quad etc on, they should be able to do so as well

Yeah, I thought so as well, but these days the tourney games are not that common. And for tourney games the admin should check that the server settings are as they should anyway

Just curious if it's still possible to unlock the voting on servers? Especially powerups and bfg on/off, when playing diff maps than q2dm1 it's nice to be able to vote on settings.  Not sure if it's still locked now, but last time I checked it was. As for the euro tourney server the settings were pretty much unplayable when I tried to play there, maps switched automatically and coulnd't vote anything. Fix it if you want people to play there

As for tourney, tourney2, and tourney4, I thought I had enabled voting on these options awhile ago.  If it's still not working, please let me know.

Regarding the euro servers, I don't have direct access to the config files.  But I'll pass the message along.

well, just checked on t4, and it says that item voting is locked.
