duel in q2world on Panjoo's remake of q2dm1 / The Edge. you will need quake2world from www.quake2world.net to view this.

put the demo in the default area for q2world demos: My Documents\My Games\Quake2World\default\demos

This was enough of a reason to try out Quake2world.  Unfortunately, your demo is protocol 13 and the current game is at 14.
Already awkward to setup, it isn't possibly worth it to download Dolan's subversion repository and build it myself.  However, strongly in his and the game's defense, this is still a beta release.
There never has been an online-only/updated game that is worth playing.

also, does anyone know why whenever I clip this demo, the hyperblaster/blaster models are missing and a lot of the scoreboard? It does it every time, but the original is fine :>

Quake2 has always had a model-rendering problem (perhaps not before 3.15 though). 

Funny that you should post this now, because I have been fixing dozens of corrupt and broken demos(and rar/zip files containing demos) just this last few weeks.  For example, I've fixed all 17 broken demos that were posted at demosquad, easiest of which to fix are the recent client-disconnect gtv-recorded demos.  I've only run into two that actually contain the data, that I haven't be able to retrieve.

u was cut start of demo with entities info (its common mistake)

imho best way (for me) is play demo with q2pro and then during play back record part of demo u want to 'cut'
u will have all entities and info

q2pro has so many awesome features that just havent made it to r1q2 shame it has a few downfalls to make people not want to use it...

main reason not using q2pro is because rich didnt AC approve q2pro after version 364 (2009)

latest q2pro version is 1093 (30.05.2011) and its way better client then any other (especially opengl is better then clumsy r1gl and cl_maxpackets rly work on q2pro instead ridiculous Rich attempt with cl_async1/cl_maxfps/r_maxfps in r1q2)

so download latest q2pro http://skuller.net/q2pro/ client and try eu server stan0x 85.17.150.244:26910 with q2pro-1093 server version

Nah, I have. Like the one below(and the other 30some demos I've cut that involve blaster/hb), it was unaffected:

so I guess I'm inclined to believe that something else, in addition to cutting the demo, is involved in this problem..
