Has anyone ever played around with it? It's a operating system that alot of people opt for over the more glorified OS's, and it's free. Was thinking of dual booting it on this laptop due to the possibility of better driver support, any experiences with it?http://www.ubuntu.com/

I dual boot it with Windows Vista. I really like it a lot. One of the cool things about it are the many applications you can get on here. Aside from that, I think it has opened my mind to Linux a lot. I grew up in a WINDOWS family that favored it to the core. I guess I'm the rebellious one Anyway, I only use Vista when I go on iTunes to sync all my iPod stuff. Other than that, Ubuntu has become second nature for me. As in, I turn on my computer, and when I sit down, I am waiting to log in on Ubuntu instead of Vista. It's also a pretty fast operating system. You'll just have to see for yourself I must also add, it's much easier to change things on here compared to windows...or should I say...Winblows ...btw, you can always try it out on the LIVE CD! It won't even install anything!

I'm sure I'll figure it out though.ubuntu ==
I recently found out about Virtual Box. Apparently you can run Window's on there like it were a regular program on Linux.
