I usually stick with a mix of Metal, Punk, and Techno whilst jumping. Here's a little example of some of the artists on my hard drive that help me through those agonizing hours of double clicking my mouse furiously...

Whatever I like, I put into a youtube playlist, then by using steam, having it run gamespy, load up quake 2 then using the steam browser inside quake, have it play the entire playlist looping and shuffling in the background. For a computer thats craptacular old, I don't lag playing music this way compared to having quake 2 and a browser up with youtube loaded.
