allowed 2 choices;

personally I'd like to play in an ra2 ladder + a 2v2 tourney...but is there even enough people to have a successful ra2 ladder? Vote whatever though, i'd like to get something going this fall(sept-nov/dec). I have admin access to nadl/nadml on q2scene so those I can do those myself, with help. The 2v2 tournament I could run myself too, with help. The ra2 ladder would be easily organized through www.worldogl.com

**Added an ffa tourney option that would be run similar to 'FFA HEAT' that used to happen around here. I believe that people were split into groups of 8, then after playing the top would continuously advance until there was a final 8 which would battle for the #1 spot.

 I would participate in the Ra2 tournament  as well. Nadl 1v1 would be fun to.FFA  would probably be the easiest , as far as participation.Good ideas Haunted hope we can implement them.

Cool. I just got the maps and skins for ra2 yesterday, and joined for a bit with eternity{FLP}. No one else was there, does it ever get crowded in the evenings anymore?

Yeah for me it's like ra2/2v2 i'd have the most fun with, but i'd still have fun participating in nadl/ffa.

If anyone plays RA, it's usually in the evenings/nights. It looks pretty dead there, but once in awhile you get 6+ people playing, usually when clan ltr plays on the RA server.

I voted for 2v2 TDM. RA sounds interesting/fun as well.

Gimme some of that 2v2 loving, reflex & i reigning CHAMPS of the unfinished ts one! hahah, other than that 4v4 would be amazing but possibly a bit too hard/farfetched to organise? maybe not, i'm not sure.

nadl would be cool, 2v2 or ffa would have the best turn out.... ra2 would be cool but i doubt the players would show up

EDIT: you will also want to talk to jehar once things are set in stone im sure he would love to cast some of it, at least finals

RA2 is a simple mod. I don't see why it wouldn't get turn out.

ra2 was actually fairly popular even 2 years ago. There were like... 6 or 7 active teams on the ladder counting the one i was on, tdm. All had enough members that they could have made at least two active teams... except for tdm probably. I agree w/ erica in regard to it most likely bringing some older players... as would the double elim 2v2 tournament. NADL would have a little less attendance but it would also bring a few older guys back... however it's success isn't as guaranteed as a 2v2 tourney, ffa tourney, or even the ra2 4v4 ladder. Where i'm getting at, is that the timing for NADL has to be a little more opportune than the others. So if you want NADL, make an effort to talk to me about it sometime in a server and spread the word about it, so it becomes just as feasible as the others. I know a lot of older inactive guys that I might be able to talk in to playing in it, but we don't HAVE to have bigger names in q2 for this to be a success, just people who show up for the most part. But, the more competition the better.

And yeah I talked to jehar a month or two about it, scheduling is somewhat flexible in these things, except for the FFA tourney all happening in a night, so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to set a date in which he could cast on. I also talked to someone from globalgamers about it, randomly when they gave me a 30$ gift certificate(heard all the points i made while talking to shun then saw me play in the sg tourney, and was under the impression i would have done better had I not been a victim of nazi-scheduling and forced to forfiet/play a match on a trackball mouse w/o sound, I guess... i was surprised myself when it happened. Didn't expect it at all, thought I was talking to a brick wall while saying all of that to shun atm) and she seemed to be quite interested in NADL. I may go talk to her or someone else from GG and attempt to sweet talk them into donating some prizes. If anyone knows any other organization that could sponsor this event with some small prizes....... let me know.

 What  time of year are we shooting for Haunted? I know you said fall but thats three months . Just kinda trying to get a rough time frame

I said fall because I wanted the date to be open to discussion kind of, so I don't know. At the earliest I guess I could open sign-ups for any of them in september and have it start mid-sept. or something. Some of them span a few weeks, others in a day like ffa that could occur at any time... so i'll just do whenever is good for the majority of players / will have the best attendance, seemingly.

ra2 is a nice change of q2 gameplay and really really fun, it seems no one is playing anymore .

Personally I'd like  a 2v2 tournament.

7 maps sounds good to me, the ones in red are open to change, but not necessarily. Discuss.
