you can try www.q2servers.com or, all the USA servers are on the 'goto' system, 'goto dfca' will take you to california server, dftx = texas, dfil = chicago, dfny = newyork... etc

Some of the servers like dfil don't show up on the server status page on TS. It always shows up as "timed out".

Also I noticed that you got a server in the Netherlands, island. lol.

Yeah...it was the GTV server that surprised me the most!

island55 European GTV server is nice addition to regular GTV server on skuller.net
last few years we had Berling.gtv as addition to skuller.net because skuller.net GTV server couldn't handle "hordes" of spectator who wanted to watch EDGE/EDL/euroq2l  league finals (EDGE league final Damiah vs PURRI had almost 400 spectators on 2 GTV servers)

i hope island will set NA.GTV server too or connect some of east coast server to his GTV.NL server especially now when USA playing  NDML and Rich decided to abandon future development of r1q2 servers because Skuller do just fine job with q2pro servers (with GTV features)
all q2scene.net league servers in Europe have q2pro as server

GTV server also record all pov's server demo  (i hope island will give gtv.nl pass to biah (euroq2l admin) who usually record gtv.skuller demos in euroq2l )
watching gtv server demo is like ur live on server

after 4 years im spoiled with gtv features: watching both pov's in same time in duels is now normal for me or watching both pov's in 2x2 or 2 main players 4x4

hello muerte,
thanks, and i had an american gtv server up but it never got used and another problem i ran into was... wallfly can only connect to a server that is running r1q2.. wallfly couldnt connect to a server running q2pro, and q2pro is required by gtv. so i had to chose from either having wallfly on my server or having gtv enabled. and americans dont really use gtv as much as the europeans, americans use more of the live tv with jehar or whatnot. this is why the american servers have wallfly on them and all the european servers dont have wallfly and is running q2pro. lol  but if any americans wanted to watch a european match they can simply connect to the european gtv server. :)

and skuller himself is the admin of the digitalfrag.net gtv server so if you have any request or comments please ask skuller, also biah does have access to the gtv server so he is able to record demos through the digitalfrag.net gtv server then download them directly from the server. and if the maxclients needs to be more than 100 this can easily be adjusted.  :thumbsup:

BTW, I had a chance to debug this the other night, so wallfly should be able to connect to q2pro servers now.

(q2pro changes the rcon status format slightly, but enough that wallfly couldn't parse it.)

What happened to MSNY? The server has strange bots, maps I never heard of, and tries to use colored letters which shouldn't work in-game. I tried to connect to see how the server is like but I don't have any of the files, so eventually I get kicked for dling too much stuff.
