I don't think you can prevent him from mymap'ing.
The maps may be shitty to you, but other people might like them.

Generally speaking, yes.

There are exceptions for griefing, though.  The extreme case is when someone picks a map for the apparent purpose of annoying the server, and then disconnects when their map comes on (or goes into spectator and doesn't play the map they mymap'd.)

So this has led to the general principle that if you mymap a map, you should play it.

It's not an absolute rule though.  If someone in spectator were mymapping maps, and everyone in the server is totally cool with it, then there would appear to be no problem.

BUT, when someone is mymapping maps,  not playing them, and managing to annoy players who are playing the maps - well, then that's not cool.  They should at least be playing the maps they choose.

The reason why I doubt you'll change is because I don't think you see the main part of your personality that others find so unlikable. You come across as very self centered and arrogant, and it's done in such a way that people can't help but interpret it as you saying "I am more important than anyone else".

ive never mymapped anything, and the only thing ive seen alpha mymap is his favorite map which is on the rotation anyway and he usually wins it unless some one like me is there
