Here, travolta was the challenger.  His map pick was totally legit for the event.

You can rail rape almost all the spawns from a single spot, dont even have to move, all the strong items: chain, RL, RG, YA, and RA are all on the same side of the map, along with all the health except 2 ten packs, it is a one sided piece of shit and not worth playing

Jehar needs to learn to say no to people who call shitty maps, that map isnt even fun to play winning or losing, if he would actually run his own damn event then i wouldnt do shit like that, i would have just told jehar its a bad map and waited for a dif map to be chosen

Last time a shit map was called on me it was a 4v4 map, and i was telling jehar over and over before the round started that its gonna be shit, and it was shit, and jehar even saw it was complete shit while we were playing it trying to think how a railgun could be put in to improve it for 1v1

i said too easy against venova because we go back a ways and ive always hated her, ive always been better than her but she won me by calling a shit map when i had really bad packet loss, this week she deserved a loss that hard to show people who is really better

q2koth works by players playing until they lose, i didnt lose for one
and also, there has been a ton of discussion on what maps to allow, and i was always the person for a map pool even creating one, but jehar decided he would just be the judge of whether a map is good enough to duel or not.... which he doesnt do

The tdm community knows ztn2dm1 is a shit map for duels, its completely one sided, ive watched naymlis win on it by 60 frags without even moving unless he needed ammo... there is a revised version of it, but that is not what he called, ztn2dm1 is TERRIBLE, and shouldnt be allowed to be called in a duel tourney, it isnt fun to play winning or losing

You picked the wrong map to flip on. Match 1 is onesided and extremely spawn based but you called it every week and EVERY PLAYER PUT UP WITH IT and just played. RDV put up with it against crow last night. So in your case someone who routinely calls an unbalanced map because he has an advantage on it quits because another player does the same thing? That's a little dumb.

That's the point of KOTH everyone has the chance of losing at some point. If you lose then deal with it and come back next week. The fact that you've never won a koth should tell you that you will probably lose some more. Get over it, that's just part of the game.
