somewhere I have a video of testing the myth of a katana deflecting bullets... not that cheesy one you put up...
but the handmade older ones....

the sword did break... but not b4 chopping 7 .50 cal machine gun rounds in half....

OK, I'm thinking of buying an AK-47.

There's one at a local gun shop that I have my eye on. It's one of the models with a wood stock, made by Century arms i believe. The price seems right ($350) but it's about a hundred bucks less than all the other ones they have (all the other ones are folding stock models).

Can anyone tell my what to look for and what to avoid when buying an AK?

and does anyone know why the folding stock ones are all more expensive than the wooden stock ones?
