Your computers/game consoles that you owned.

Well I started off with a Pong game system that hooked to the TV, an Atari 2600, and a Commodore 64.
The Pong system was great, it had different play modes, even a light gun were you could shoot a ball that went across the screen. It lasted for a while, but one day it died, smoke started comeing out of it.
The
Atari 2600
was fun, my favorite games on it was Video Pinball and Jr. Pac-Man, I could play those for hours, and thanks to emulators I still do. Not sure what happened to that system, I lost track of it somehow.
The
Commodore 64
, was and is by far my favorite of those three. I spent hours playing the various games from the
Loadstar
magazine disk that my dad had a subscription too, I loved the text adventure games, they were great. I got my dad's
Commodore 128
, after he got a 386 PC, I still got the C-128 up in my closet with all my software.
Then later on I got the 8-bit
Nintendo Entertainment System
, the one that came with the gun and
Super Mario Bros.
and
Duck Hunt
on one cartridge. I used to go to the local video rental store once a week and get a game, my favorite was
Maniac Mansion
, liked it much more than the PC versions. Favorite game I owned on that system I would have to say
Zelda
.
Later I got the the
Sega Genesis
and the
Sega CD
add-on, the first game I played on Sega CD was
Sewar Shark
, it was the first CD-ROM based game I had played, it used video, even though it was grainy and was in a small window I was still impressed at that time. My favorite Genesis games had to be the
Sonic the Hedgehog
series, my favorite games on the Sega CD were "Lunar: The Silver Star"
"Lunar: The Silver Star"
and "Lunar 2: Eternal Blue"
"Lunar 2: Eternal Blue"
.
After that came the
PlayStation
, first game I played was
Resident Evil
, Memory Card didn't come with the system
I couldn't save, so I stayed up all night and played the game through on Easy, beat it in like 9 hours play time. That was good system, my favorite game on that would have to be
Final Fantasy VIII
and
Metal Gear Solid
.
That system lasted me a long while, until I replaced it with the
PlayStation 2
, which is what I have currently, as well as a
GameCube
. Favorite PS2 game, hard to say, but I'd prolly go with "SSX: Tricky"
"SSX: Tricky"
, favorite GameCube game, would be "Eternal Darkness"
"Eternal Darkness"
, as well as the Resident Evil Remake.
As for computers, I had 486's for awile that I would find other 486's, and if they were better put the parts in it and use it, or if it wasn't as good, take out what parts were good and put them in mine. Did that till about 2001 when I got ahold of a Gateway Celeron 700Mhz, got a GeForce 4 MX420 to replace the onboard video and a Audigy Gamer, which I still use today, to replace the onboard audio. The Gateway lasted me a while till I got an HP Pavillion Celeron 2.7Ghz, I put the Audigy in it and gave the Gateway to my nephew. I used the HP for a couple years, then decided to build my own system. So I ordered parts from Newegg.com, and put together my current system. Specs for that are here,
http://www.geocities.com/solo_senshi/mainsys.htm
Favorite PC games,
Quake 2
and
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
.
I put the HP on my TV for watching videos and for using emulators, much better on the TV than a computer monitor. HP specs,

Yes it does, I'm currently working through the Bloodmoon expansion. I've already beat the main quest and the Tribunal expansion.
Using Trueflame and Hopefire as weapons, wearing mostly customized armor, two rings with fortify strength 1-47, just keep equiping till I get the desired strength, got a couple amulets, one with levitate and one with restore fatigue I just switch between as needed. Two belts, one with water walking and one with water breathing, switch as needed. Got restore health 1-7 on my shield, which is a Daedric Tower Shield. Got a Daedric gauntlet with night-eye 60, helps for seeing in the dark. I got the Redas Robe of Deeds, constant effect Feather 50. I forget the rest now, haven't played in about a month and I don't feel like loading it just to find that out.
Eagerly awaiting Oblivion, hopefully by then I'll have my AMD64 system put together, I'm kinda waiting for Windows Vista to do that though.

Ok then first I had the atari 2600, and my friend had the comadore 64.Then I got the atari 7600, seems like no one else did. Then the nes, then the snes, then the Playstation. Then I went retro and got the nintendo 64-My favorite game of all time besides Q2 was Perfect Dark-I beat the crap outta this game and most anyone that I played on it with.
Then the PS2 came out, got that.So I still have a NES, Nintendo 64 and my PS2.My SNES I gave to my buddys kid so theoreticlly I still have it but not in my possesion.Im always looking for good NES games. And SNES, and Nin-64 like- Mario Cart, I still love that game!
Now as for computers. When doom had first come out I had a 486- only 1 mb of ram had to buy another to even play the dang game.Upgraded as soon as newer puters came out.Cant really remember them all there were so many in such a small amount of time. All I remember is I wanted to play Q1 so had to upgrade to play it, then got dial-up, so I could play it online.Somwhere in there I learned to put ram in and modems and such.Thats why Im so interested in them today. All because I had to upgrade to play thwe newest coolest games!

I had one of the original Atari's... No clue what model, but I just googled and it looks exactly like the 2600's, but with 7800 paddles (the long triangle-ish ones with buttons on each sides and the joy at the top).
Then NES
Then gameboy
Then Sega
Then... My brother had a playstation.
Had a Packard bell p133mhz computer with 24mb of ram
Then a Packard Bell 400mhz which I upgraded to 192mb of ram, and played Q2 with that for a while...
Built my own computer recently, and here are the specs.
Asus A8V-D motherboard
AMD 939pin 3500+ cpu (2.2ghz @ 2000mhz FSB)
Kreton 2x512mb DDR466 (pc3700) memory dual channel
eVGA Geforce 6800 Ultra 256mb
Creative SB Audigy 2 xgamer
Seagate SATAII 200gb hdd
Sony floppy
Lite-On 16x DVD-Rom
Pioneer 16x DVD+-RW dual layer
TTGI 600W 4 fan Power supply
Acer 19" 12ms LCD 500:1 contrast
Creative P7800 7.1 speakers
