Bored, needed something to listen to while doing other things ...  thought to search for "John Carmack lectures mp3" but a bunch of bullshit came up.

Thought maybe somebody on this forum might have a link or something that might be interesting.

highly recommend www.ted.com as a series of <15 minute talks by smart, interesting, creative people.

You can stream the talks, or download audio or video.

Also, youtube search his Quakecon keynotes, as he makes them every year, and they tend to cover a broad scope of where the industry is going and his thoughts on things.
