Dude on a rollerblading forum says Vancouver is amazing. Not just the skate spots (which apparently are largely capped, sadly) but also the amsterdam cafe's and the olympics he said were amazing too. I envy ya.

There are some great free skate parks built by the city. Most businesses in the DT core have bumped all their rails and planter boxes because of the (mostly) skateboard trucks thrashing them.

There's a big longboard community here along with several parkour groups too. I love my city to death but it needs to lighten up.

Except when the bolt caps on our axels (gnr or not to gnr) click it on a half cab. Or when we melt wax onto a freshly painted surface. We? I don't skate anymore.

okay, we fuck ledges up with wax but other than that, pff axel bolts are recessed in modern frames, as are the soulplate bolts if they're THAT worn down ya probably shouldnt be skating in them fullstop

however, you said half cab. I think that's a skateboarding thing  in inline that's just a 180. Hurricane topsoul switch up torque full cab out, thats some STEEEEEZ
