What about an Instagib Tournament?

Hi all,

I was thinking about setting up a  inter clan instagib tournament. iR, KEA, and BTF are  pretty active, and there's the new RB clan that may participate too... obviously, the tournament will be free for any clan that want to participate. It has been a while  there isn't such an event,  and it may be funny...  what do you all think about that?

Yeah, the last NAiL season really died off. When we get the staff together to start organizing these things properly, we should be seeing a lot of activity. When we get the staff.

I looked around for some ladder software such as PHP, but didn't find anything good.  Anyone have a tip?

I tried as well and all I found was an application that automatically lists adren as the winner and calls every other player in the bracket some kind of rude insult.

I thought there was a NAiL II that never got finished? I'm willing to play I guess, I'm pretty sure we can find a couple more iR guys to roster up too. I'd much rather have 3v3 than 2v2 or 1v1 though. I don't think there are enough people to field enough teams to make it doable anymore.

i think we should set up something not too restrictive for players, or it will never end again. I thought something like a a clan based tournament, so, there won't be constraints on the single player. (maybe that was the reason because the NAiL II died, but i'm not sure about that) Anyone who is member of a participating clan may be part of a match, according with his/her clan leader/captain.

I'd much rather have 3v3 than 2v2 or 1v1 though. I don't think there are enough people to field enough teams to make it doable anymore.

About the matches.. well... they should be at least 2v2, because it will be a clan tournament. 3v3 may be better, and... (why not?) 4v4 if there are enough players.. Every match would be a 2 out of 3, and again, to make things easier, i think there should be something like a week of time for a match to take place. (even though, some notice may be cool, to allow the tastycast guys to set up things for the casting )
