It's the custom MP for Return to Castle Wolfenstien done by Splash Damage & is free.

they might be the same thing im not sure never got into the scene... but ive been told they are a bit different

They are similar since they are both WWII themed and have the same basic weapons pool. The difference comes from the huge ammount of features added by ET. There's leveling, class based weapon selection, more advanced revive system, a lot of new maps, bots, and even moving spawns forward to progress through a map.

I'm not a fan of the original ET. The weapons are way too underpowered in my opinion. Your traditional realism game makes 3 or 4 bullets from any gun to any body part fatal. ET can put an entire clip into a player and it's not fatal unless it's a head shot.

CS had that same problem for me. It absolutely is NOT a realism game but pretends to be one.

well i dont really think of rtcw as realistic just a WW2 awsome multiplayer quake3 mod IMO lol

i heard that ET has lower damages than the comercial rtcw though, and players i talked to found it frustrating, to me vanilla just always sounds better than free with changed up stuff to make it noob proof

Oh yeah, I prefer vanilla RTCW as well. It plays almost, but not quite, entirely unlike DDAY.

ive never honestly played rtcw multiplayer so i wouldnt know the differences between the two ive seen a lot of competition videos from back in the day when it was THE GAME for teams lol and it really impresses me, so i wouldnt know myself about the game play, but i would love to give it a try cause it looks like loads of fun and i havent really heard ANYTHING bad about it

kinda why im wondering why tastyspleen doesnt have any servers up for it xD woulda been great just to get some friends together and go hop on a tastyspleen server
