Played delita a few times the other night...(sometimes plays as mirr, the major euro shittalker)

Whoops my ass the first game, then we rematch twice and I win both times.

Manipulator was telling me to play noise, after noise had beat him. Hes pretty decent as well, some good games i guess.

I doubt I would beat either of them without the ping advantage, but who knows.

I dunno, something to post cuz its pretty dead in this section.

idk about you losing without the ping advantage to be honest pb. High ping really isn't all that hard for me and I don't think it should be for you either. I actually do better with high ping a lot of times.. the handicap makes me not want to play around as much. I know you're a more focused player than me and have that problem way less, but still... But yeah, it's funny that people always talk shit about the ping disadvantage. It's not like dial up or anything lol

It's funny you mention that, when I play in euro servers my rocket launcher is a hell of alot more accurate. Don't know why, lol, I anticipate too quickly and the lag makes up for it.

Probably in tdm ping has less influence on the game, but in rails its different, im sorry to say this, but i personnally see a huge difference between 120 ping and 60 ping, even 15 ping vs 60 ping!

For example, lots of game ive played against vigilante or carn, which have very low pings (10-20) and i have around 65, i would say they sometime make maybe 10 frags on me just on ping per games. I click, and im dead, makes a difference when rail is all based on reflexes a quickness

Instagib is instantly, if you click at the same time on the button, obviously the one with lower ping has advantage

Sinner, my rail and chain are both better sometimes in europe and those are both have instantaneous shots so idk.. It's kind of hard to explain. I think I'm just better with prediction than I am actually aiming

Well sinner, you do have a point there. I tend to play a lot of lithium (instagib comes in second, followed by DM), so nearly everybody including me is leading by significant amounts with the RL. People move so fast (much faster than rockets in normal Quake II), that it is nearly impossible to hit people in midair with a rocket anyway. You are almost always trying to rocket people who are standing near things or hooking into a wall.

However, I do play instagib, and I lose maybe 1 or 2 frags due to I click but get railed anyway. But like I said, my PL (which sometimes makes my RG not shoot

) tends to mask out the effects of my ping

Hahahaaaa!!!!! You know why you say this? Because you play at an extremely low skill level. At a high level even 10ms makes a big diff. Honestly, under 250...

You play q2dm1 vs a good dueller (provi, purri, damiah) on ping 200 vs 200 and then 200 vs 10. Tell me after that that it doesn't matter. U can not even do 1 damage, lol.

Noise must be some nicklamer cause never heard of him.

I wonder why ah! wins 14-3 on a usa server vs agent, and loses 32-0 on eu server. Ping doesn't matter right?

I might agree that for some players it doesn't matter, but you can't jude for your opponent. If it matters a lot for your opponent, but not for you, it still matters a lot for the outcome of the match. I know for sure that when eu players play on ping 30 all the time and then a few games on 120 in usa, it matters BIGTIME.
