New Castle is very good, I also like Becks, and Stella, hmmm I like em all

but, I have found a new personal, second favorite...Stella Artois. Which I am surprised I like, but I do.

Lidz, if you're a big fan of stella than allow me to suggest Peroni. Same category but better imo. As for newcastle being the beer you lost your v-card to.... I feel very sorry for you man. What a bummer knowing that you will never have a better tasting beer after your first one

Becks? booo... you should check out peroni too if you haven't already reap! And liquor owns man... I get similar satisfaction from a good shot of room temp whiskey that I get from a ice cold beer. Right now I have a 5th of kickin chicken (wild turkey) and a 5th of rebel yell. (16.95$ and 12.95$)... I love the taste from both straight. The kickin chicken is a little pricey though, you're kind of just paying for a name... but you are with 90% of everything so.. Anyway, it's not always for getting drunk. I keep my bottles of liquor for 1-2 weeks before they're done. 3 shots a night or so, more or less depending on the circumstances...

Nah not really. Not disagreeing with you because im the 'troll'...

It's a palate you have to discover. There's the college liquors, cheap garbage, that's what you start with. Then you move into the mid grade shit, you spend a few bucks more... and you either stop there or experiment with a real top shelf. sipping on glenlivet 18yr atm. any man who cant appreciate scotch can never be a real man.

Yeah jager, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt being that I haven't had a newcastle on tap at the temperature I like at all. It's always not cold enough and/or the bartender doesn't know how to poor a beer. The very nice restaurant right above me (I'm in a motel office right now on the water) has the COLDEST tap ever.. but no newkie on tap! Blue moon that ridiculously cold is pretty damn smooth though. I just put a case of budweiser in my truck, getting a 12pk of nukes on the way home as well though in 30 mins. How much was your 12pk? Mine are 16.59 here..

speaking of shitty bartenders though, have you guys seen that a lot lately too? I get huge fucking heads on my beers... it pisses me off that a bartender doesn't know to run the tap for a split second before putting it in the glass, in addition to gently pouring it at a tilt. The other day at cleveland's main airport (hopkins) I helped a bartender put a tap on. lol...

I've always thought scotch was to sharp of a taste, it has to much bite. I'd be willing to bet you abused the whiskey and that's why you like scotch, because it's different.

Good scotch imo really has no bite, shouldnt sting you mouth. it's smooth, cool, taste of a yummy barrel

idk people seem to think im just a dick cause im online, but that isn't the case. If there's one thing I critique in life and voice my opinion good or bad, it's service. Restaurants, grocery shopping, bars, etc... if my service is not equal to what im paying for, then i make a scene. but on the other side of the scale, i tip like a motherfucker. If I get a quality product, quick service, and a smile, I pay those people good. When I find a bar like the ones you mentioned, i dont go back. i have my set of bars that make my list, and that's where i normally go. if somebody makes a suggestion we'll stop by, but ill get people to a new bar if I don't like it.

Just picked up a six of Newcastle. Really east to drink. Me rikey!!! Also picked up a six of Leffe Abby's Blond Strong Beer. Another tasty adventure into new beers.

LOL until this morning when I woke up and it had decided to reside in the sludge that builds up on your tongue after a knight of a few beers. I think I know how you stabbed the back of your throat, by trying to get rid of the morning after taste.

Don't get me wrong. Fucking amazing taste going in. This is why I am glad I have that teaspoon for scraping my tongue. Got rid of the bad morning taste just in time to crack open another of that damn delicious Newcastle!
