It hascame to our attention and some clients that tastyspleen.net allows certain players cheats and so forth like spawning with rail and rocket and so forth. This is a attempt to clear this up or face future prosecution in the state of texas (wichita county). We hope this does not have to go further but we as a entity are prepared to bring tastspleen.net and all constituants to court on said process. We feel making everyone use anticheat will be beneficial to everyone and the people tastyspleen serves as a better entity. But at the same time tastyspleen does allow certain people cheats and so forth and do prepare to submit videos and so forth to represent our selves in this case. You have seven days to reply or the lawsuit will go forth.

It's probably not a prank. It's probably some 12 year old who lost a TDM and thinks that you can actually sue someone for not using anti-cheat.

I hope that the idiot can come on the forum soon so that we can verbally own him for a few rounds before he eventually leaves crying like a little girl.

I honestly think that not forcing anticheat is a reasonable gamble. The risk and consequence of someone cheating vs. the risk and consequence of new users not knowing how to install anticheat and moving on to a different game are just not worth it. Not to mention the notable amount of effort that Quadz puts forth to enforce his existing rules. Isn't half of comcast and all of sweden banned?

I don't know how anyone can actually think for a fraction of a second this was in anyway legit. I would really hope anyone with the intention on suing someone would be able to speak a little better than that.

Dear newbie who is threatening to sue,

Repeatedly saying "so forth" does not lend credence to your "legal" argument, it just makes you look like an idiot. You need not do this, because it is already obvious, to all of us, that you are an idiot. Nobody needs additional proof.

One day, when you pay a single cent for the use of these servers, you still will not have a leg upon which to stand in court, because there is no gaurantee that this service will be provided to you, or that it will consist of the stupid bullshit that you think it should be. You have payed nothing, and were gauranteed nothing, and thus there have been no damages, other than to your ego after getting your ass handed to you on the servers.

You have no case, at all, and if you were to even try to take something like this to court the judge would laugh at you and then send you to jail for a week or two for contempt.

In closing don't ever threaten people who are your elders and betters, and you should go play outside until you're old enough to use the internet intelligently.

There was a thread with some kid threating legal action, if anti-cheat wasn't enforced. Too lazy to look for it, but I remember it. Maybe a few months ago?

I'm pretty sure this twat's true identity would be impossible to discover. It's not like Quadz knows a single thing about computers. It's not like he can see the IP on every single post and private message sent on these forums. And it's not like he can cross reference that IP that he can't see with the IP of any player who has ever connected to any one of the Tastyspleen servers through the server logs that he can't see either. Yeah, he ain't got a fucking clue in hell.
