the limitted/full servers is my main gripe really.

I can find ones with players any time of the day, but usually only 2 or 3 at a time that have sub 150ms pings with people online, and of those they tend to be packed solid and I have to wait for a few minutes before I can get in.

On occasion I'll go idle on an empty one just to spread it around and draw some players who are tired of waiting
I'd rather diddle around in warmup for 20 minutes and work on my vehicle handling than stare at the cylon bar of the waiting to connect window.

Dead Space 2

Yuh, set up my surround sound and played it on the big screen with all the lights off. Stupid scary games keeping me up at night. Doesn't help that I watched the two bluray movies before settling into this one. Boy are they ever graphic.

Bulletstorm.... So far so freakin' badass.

Love the attitude in this game. Just went through a scene where you get yelled at by a girl,

Girl: "IF YOU FOLLOW ME, I'LL KILL YOUR DICKS"
Grey: "What? You'll kill our dicks? The fuck does that even mean?! YEAH WELL YOU KNOW WHAT, IF YOU KEEP RUNNING I'LL KILL YOUR DICK. YEAH."

Duke's gonna have a good challenge for best commentary in a game with this one.

Found out that the Ultima 6 Online project finally got steam and the community is up and jumping. Hurray for 1991 RPG's being revived!

K, update.

KILLZONE 3

So far, 7/10. Hasn't broken out of the norm. Great GFX but limited to 720p and uses 90's era dithering to fade/render detail at medium distance (pffft it's a GD ps3 why the hell am I not playing in fucking 1080p with graphics so slick that it looks like Bianca Beauchamp in a Mazola party with Susan Wayland)

The story is enough to keep you interested but lacks the urgency and fervor of the previous two iterations of this franchise.

Oh well, between this, Batman: AA, Bulletstorm, and Gran Tourismo 5 I should be held over until BRINK is released.

lol some one keeps playing that at school, so we will all stop and get into it on that one persons machine xD so its basically 3 people trying to outsmart one other person on the internet...

admittedly all 3 of us suck at chess though so its more like... we get one good chess player out of three meh chess players lol

One of the many fun features about chess.com is they have a daily challenge.

Thinking about that, we could incorporate that idea here.

I am thinking a daily challenge

1) speed through a map
2) # of shots to take out the bots
3) jump challenges

just a few examples, with % of success for players.

It would take some effort for whoever has the time to set this up.

That's the idea, with all the talent here this could happen.
