Ive played a few minutes against Kobra in grom and he is straddling that line where I would bitch about him being in novice.

I should be known as Mr. Inconsistency.  I cannot for the life of me put together a full well-played game.  I am hardly skilled enough to be in Sport.

I mean, I personally don't even rank in the Top 10 Novice players.  Gator, max ping, l-lomer, Shadow, blitz, Maddy, M^tster[SIR], Digency, Rogal, and DtheRaTT^K][L^ are 10 players who are better than me at this.  I'm sure there are others too.

It may seem like I have low expectations, but when you get eliminated in tournaments like I have been...You just don't expect as much out of yourself.  All I will be happy with is giving someone a close fight for once.

Believe me, you have a better chance than you think.  I admit that I am horribly inexperienced on the first two maps.  Finding myself knocked down to the loser's bracket would not be a surprise at all to me.

And I also admit that you were one of the players I was hoping that I wouldn't draw so early.  But here we are only two days left until this is settled...and then my mind can be at ease for the moment.

Don't get me wrong, I think I'm going to play better than I have in the other two tournaments.  Just not too sure if it's enough to win an actual match.  Right now I look back at the previous two tournaments and remember how hard it was to play the way I wanted to mostly because of being too anxious in controlling the maps.

And I know two other faults of mine, but I would rather keep them myself or else I would be easily beaten. 

I think this will be a fun match.  I actually remember playing Xtife 1vs1 on mutant over a month ago.  We tied on one map 6-6 (I was being beaten 6-0 at one point) and on the next map I was up 5-0 before he had to leave.  Not sure if he remembers that...

That's what I'm leaning more towards to at the moment.  If we are both at our best tomorrow night, then this should be one fun match to watch.  I believe that this will be a lot closer than expected.

I would like to say a few things...

First, thanks to JQuestt for reffing this match.  You were basically the only available ref at the time, and I appreciate you offering to ref it.

Second, I would like to thank Xtife for two well-played games.  If at all possible, I would like to assign myself as a ref for your future matches.  Thanks, it was a real pleasure.

Third, I would like to thank everyone who gave me words of encouragement.  Can't even begin to tell you how good it is to know that there are others on here who actually wanted to see me play well.  I wish all of you the same.

I know that is a lot to say for just one match, but this really means something to me.  Below are "IN-EYES" demos in case anyone feels like watching it...But of course they lack spectator talk.

Xtife, Ill agree with you on the first map (grdm1) It did seem like you had some problems controlling the map ... but it kinda seemed like you were a bit unfamiliar with it.

The second map was 10000x better (match1) you looked alot more comfortable playing, and did a really great job with that comeback   I thought it was going to go to a third map

Kobra - sorry I wasnt as prepared as I should have been for that match, but I wasent exactly expecting to ref that night.  Thanks for letting me know what maps were gonna be played   I can see that your practice in 1v1 has paid off, you're gettin pretty damn good

ya, i didnt play that map much before, kobra kept taking guns lol :p so i had none most of the time
