Chat conversation with a coworker today:

(2:07 PM) coworker: why did the picture go to jail?
(2:14 PM) me: See it all started when I took my favorite pretty face to a very negative film. I wanted to take her to a dark room to see what developed. She was full of luminance, and though we contrasted, that night our fates were interlaced. That night shot out like a motion blur as soon as that theater came into our field of view. In a flash the guy in the row ahead of me recognized my distinct aperture. We had been exposed. There was little time before the cops came and we were wound up in jail after they took our prints. I shuttered to think what kind of charges they would throw at us. I couldn't focus. Thankfully a witness came forward and retouched the facts till they were black and white. We were let go, we had been framed. It was a perfect resolution to a wide angle of problems. After all, I had to catch the red-eye and I couldn't let any more time lapse.
(2:14 PM) coworker: it was framed
(2:15 PM) me: Guess I was overly elaborate on that one.
