Quake II multiplayer crashes

For some reason Quake II crashes in multiplayer for me after about 25 minutes of playing, and I have no idea why.  Here is a screenshot of the message it shows.  Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

That screenshot shows up to me as, "Access Denied! File not available blah blah"
