OK, to keep from hijacking the What u look like thread, I'm asking all you musicians to tell us what you play, are u/were u in a band, what gear you use etc. I found an article about a site the other day that will allow up to eight musicians to play together on the internet - that would be cool if we could pull off somethin like that and record it. I cant find the article and can't locate the site via google - I'll let you know if I find it. Meanwhile, fill us in - I'm gonna save my story for later.

An internet band would be cool, but my mic blows, and i haven't figured out a good way to go direct to my computer from my amp and still preserve my (amazing) tone.
Gear:
Amp:
Mesa-Boogie Rect-O-Verb 50 watt combo w/ Mesa 6L6 GC tubes(yes I've heard all the jokes about that model name)
Guitars:
2 Epiphone Les Paul Studios
Effects:
Lexicon mpx 110 multi fx rackmount
Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi
Ibanez TK-99US tube king
Boss BF-3 flanger
Dunlop mr. crybaby
Tuner:
Boss TU-2 Pedal Tuner
Misc:
Ernie ball power slinky strings
Monster Cable
Dunlop Tortex Sharp Picks, .73 mm
Credits:
uhhhhhhh.... I'm in a band... n stuff
Musical Influences:
Testament
GWAR
Alabama Thunderpussy
Mastodon
Zakk Wylde
My guitar playing sounds like:
Anal Rape, world war III, yngwie malmsteen

Yeah i agree. Internet band would be cool. I can help out if you'd like Mule!
My specialty lies in vocals, editing and writing. My mics aint doing too bad considering that my new mics are cheap compared to my ass-kicking Audix mics that got stolen.

I played guitar from when I was 14-19, I was in a band from when I was 17-19 - it had the same name as my q2 clan at the time (as several of the players were in the band too) "Death Factor X" - we would mostly just get wasted and play a bunch of raunchy grunge/metal for the neighborhood while our parents were working, we played some parties, but it didn't go much past that, everyone was busy all the time working or going to school so it kinda died off after a while. I don't think I ever had the kind of dedication that something like that deserves so it just seemed right to kill it after a while.
I played a les paul just like n0c, except mine wasn't a studio, with ernie ball super slinks, and as for my influences back then, it wouldve been nirvana, life of agony and type o negative :P

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
