So I got down on one knee on Friday, June 13th 2008 and she said yes.

I'm not technically 'married' (prob never will be )  but we have 9 yrs and a son under our belts now, so here's my only advice:

never point out when she is acting irrationally. saying "baby you're acting crazy" is never a good idea
and include her in any major financial decisions you are making. I'm not saying get her permission (because you wont always agree)  but ask her opinion, ya know?
We went to get a queen bed and by the time i got back to him on the other side of the store he was already half way through the paperwork for a leather couch.

Why not? I tell my gf when she's acting crazy because she's acting crazy. I also poke her belly and tell her to stop snacking.
