it's better than mindless FFA where there's no strategy, and just finding the closest gun and shooting and hope you survive the spam for more than a few seconds.  It's Sunday night, anybody comming?

I refresh the server every so often when I'm at home. (5-11pm EST) when ever I see somebody in there I join. Just half the time it's that bigjohnson guy that always ends up killing himself before I get the last shot or just plain disconnects. Which in the end actually makes me feel better then killing him.

Would be great to get more people in there again...

By the way the PS is on perma stay, it can't be camped and you can't have more then one at a time. There is no excuse not to be using the PS if that's your problem with the server.

True, i have never seen anyone play sheridan so good as pulp.

Does this mod have a website? It seems like it's more of an insider info thing. I'd like to know of any commands (obviously spinkick is a command based on this conversation) and the concept of it. From what I can gather just playing it, it's made specifically for the city1 map. I just feel like I'm missing something as I've only seen 4 actual features to the mod so far.

Yeah you've pretty much have it down.

city1 only.
instant, straight, green blasts from hyper & blaster.
power shield is set to stay.
no quad/invun.
spinkick command.
score tracking.

There isn't anything else really.

Point of sheridan is to not die and tally up as many kills as you can by all means necessary. The city1 map allows you to do that due to the layout. It has mega, red armor, power shield, numerous cells, all the guns, tricky jumps that come in very handy, an "arena" like fighting area, you can move VERY fast on the map, numerous teleports that allow you to get from one side of the map to another. It's pretty much perfect for the style of play. The 'sheridan' server it self goes back a looooooooong ways in quake2 history. The name and mod was handed down through a few admins I believe. Recently the mod I believe "Captain Sheridan" originally created was re-created by wheet. Quadz is just so bad ass he's hosting it again, least how I take it. Not sure on his story.
