R1Q2 closes at Vanilla Server

Weird...playing this morning (Sunday) on a couple of maps on Vanilla without issue.  Then, a  map change, and R1Q2 just closed completely.  Reconnects would result in the same closing. 

Ironically, I could get into Mutant and stay connected without issue.

I don't know what map(s) were affected, but this happened on several succeeding maps.  Never had any problems on Vanilla before, nor R1Q2 for that matter. 

I would assume if the server "kicked" me, I would get a message saying so.  No message.  Just a complete shutdown of the client on my pc.

Which makes Q2 map downloads between my bro's and my computer go from
~15 KB/s to ~350 KB/S

...just felt like dropping that in...
But sorry Slikkster, that hasn't happened to me, but I do somtimes get

Narrowed it down to one map...the "City1" map always closes R1Q2.  Seems odd that this would happen.  That's a map that's included with the game, no?  I can only find it via a Pak Explorer.  Hard to believe it's corrupted inside a Pak file.
