What you should do if you're really fancy is get binds where you just drop one weapon at the time, then the next time you hit the key you just drop the ammo for that weapon for as long as you hold in the weapondropping trigger (ctrl in your case). This is quite usefull, because often you tend to want to keep weapons for your own use as well, but still want to give away more ammo to your partner. The way I do this is I actually rebind the key inside the bind to drop ammo.
If you want help with that let me know, if not have it your way

sure, tht sounds good, I had that problem when i was playing with rogal the other night, i had 1 RL but loads of ammo, rogal needed some at lift but I couldnt get him ammo without giving gun too, so i dropped him the whole lot and he gave me a rl back with some ammo, but it slowed me down a whole lot, so yeah, I could use that

Here is some more random advice:
-Make sure you get your clan's contact info (set up an e-mail list) so you can keep everyone on the same page.
-Have everyone get ventrilo and mic's so you can communicate in the match without hitting a bind for every little thing.
-Get timers and loc files from
http://www.filesource.quakeclans.org/misc.php
. You need timers for armor, weapon, quad, and invun.
-Powerups are really important in teamplay. On dm8 treat the ps like quad. Unlike quad, you can drop ps (power shields) to teamates so make sure you set up a drop ps bind.
-Don't let people who are going to quit if your team is losing into your clan.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
